I was gifted a new Ping G425 Max in my specs. I tried it for a season and early into the second season I sold it. I just couldn't get on with it. I played without a driver for a bit and then tried a TS3 off the used rack at Golf Town. Paid $260 CDN for it and I hit it so well. With the money I had left over I also picked up a Vokey SM9. Life is good!

I still got a Cleveland Launch Turbo that does well, might pick up a newer XL for $249 or Srixon Zx5 to go with my Zx5 irons.

for $300 you can get a used g425, maybe even a g430 if you look around and dont mind a beat up looking one... i love my Callaway Rogue i bought for $120... it has a full length shaft so its like 47" oveerall... i think thats why i like it, regular length drivers feel weird now... lol

try changing the weights from fade to draw, to see if that makes any difference, plus changing hosel settings from draw to fade.

Got a G425 driver for $280 at the beginning of the season on Facebook marketplace. There is WAY more golf equipment out there than active golfers that’s lightly used and aging every year. Only reason to buy new is you got the cash to burn. The worst golfers I have played with have all new stuff 😅

The tour edge pro c722 is one of the most underrated drivers out there for under 300. Got a demo for 170$ then upgraded the shaft to a yellow proforce v2

I picked up the cobra rad speed back in march for 229 on sale straight from cobra and definitely a solid upgrade from thrift store golf clubs 😂

Solid vid. I rock a m3 as well and have no desire to change it. Hit it really well with avg carry right under 300, similar to your vid have a pretty tight draw dispersion, off center hits still go straight, and glossy carbon looks great in the sun. One thing you didn’t mention on the m3 is that TM still sells the weight kit. Lots of folks play around and add a 3rd weight. How about a vid that takes your #1 club and let’s see how it compares to the cobra ltdx ls, stealth +, etc. I bet you’ll find it keeps up or isn’t that far behind.

The M3 is a beast. I tested my M3 against the LTDx and the Cobra edged it out. The TSR3 is giving the Cobra a run tho.

When you look at the average click first on the club you select at the left because it will show your last shot data if you dont choose first. I noticed some difference in your data going back and forth on the video and your avg is somtime if not always better than your last shot

Got a ts2 the week the tsi line came out, big saving. Love it, having a hard time justifying get a new driver for next summer but am really wanting to get fit for either tsr or new Srixon drivers.

What shaft is on the 1st club with the M3

I play the g410 LST with an after market 18 gram weight put in the centre and hit straight bombs 300-350 here in Ontario. I think the weight that came with it was 12 gram but the 18 gram makes it into a fairway finder , hard to upgrade it

Ya absolutely. You can go into any shop that does fitting and tell them you want to look at upgrading the shaft. Another good option is a used golf club shop. Where i live, we have a place called golf traders and they have a sim and a bunch of used shafts you can test. I would look for a similar place in your area.

The Ping G410 Plus is a much better choice than the LST, and a few retailers like TGW still have a handful of brand new in stock for $299.

Do you think the head or shaft makes a bigger difference? The reason I ask is I have the older Callaway Rogue (NOT ST) with a Stiff flex shaft. My buddy has the same head but his has the Regular shaft. For some reason I hit the regular shaft a lot straighter. My Stiff shaft I tend to miss right and some times slice.

The stiff shaft could have a wrong kick point for you. Best to see a fitter.

They're still an incredible driver even today, there's a reason pros still use it. But frankly every driver the last 5 years is good if were being honest. They're all good when you hit the center :D
