Ralph T. is the ride and die of New Edition. He has been the main lead singer from the beginning. They brought in Johnnie Gill but Ralph T. still sang lead on a lot of their songs. He is the voice of N.E. The other guys are talented but they are not the full package, singer, dancer, swagger, looks, confidence and maturity. NE4lLIFE but love Ralph T. to infinity.

Joshua Turner Agreed, but think about this...without Ralph, NE wouldn't have been what it became or what it is today. Ralph is the star of NE and that is why he works so hard to give the audience the best performance. Even in the live tour shows, he's the one dancing and singing better than all the rest. He gives you everything on stage, all the swagger, all the energy. You can look at any video and your eye always goes to Ralph not because he's the lead but because he's overall the best performer in the group. He's still the full package of all the guys, even Bobby can no longer sing like he used to, but Ralph can. Johnny can sing, but he's fat and can't dance. Mike can rap, but looks crazy dancing in his suits now and he can't sing like Ralph. Ronnie can dance but he can't sing. Ricky can sing and dance, but not as well as Ralph and he's not as good looking. So again Ralph IS THE STAR OF NEW EDITION but never behaved like the star.

Who knew that they would set the 90s on fire as solo artists. Then eight years later they will make in my personal opinion the greatest new edition album ever. Home again was the bomb. Every song on that album was fire 🔥. Now 40 years later. These guys are older and still selling out shows. All of this success with no hit record or album in 20 years. Some of these guys are grandparents. These guys are hitting into their 60s in a few more years and still going strong.
