It’s seems like Eric is finally getting his flowers a bit, and I’m really happy to see it. I started street skating in 1989, and it was Hill, Mariano, Barbee, Vallely, Gonz and Jason, Hensley, Knox, and Eric Dressen that were my guys. Many of those names got their props but I felt like Frankie, Tom, and Eric really didn’t get the credit they deserved from the later generations. Still have the OG Dressen Everslick add on my bookcase. Much love, and thanks for putting this out, my man.❤

I love this video I'm old school skateboard back from the 80s 90s little bit in the 2,000 but I skated for 15 years of my life till I got hit from a car and I kind of had to hang it up but yes my favorite skaters were the Z-Boys Eric dressen Mike Vallely I miss a day's skateboarding through Santee at AMC Theaters

Geez Tony can't tell you how many times I've watched this back in the day, Eric must be in my Top 5 of all time; the flow, style, creativity, speed...he's the complete package for street, no stone unturned! All my dream spots here, getting those POV shots, plus the randomness thrown in, totally captured the vibe, what can I say. You probably know by now this is my era, lol. Eric Dressen makes me believe that this Santa Cruz 'team' was the best of all time. Natas, Kendall and JJ just round out the team. Natas is probably my favorite skater of all time. However, Eric is up there with the best of them. I don't think I could ever watch someone just powerslide down a hill, but Eric is an exception. His mini ramp part is devastation. He skates some of my local spots, so I am kind of stoked to see him ripping around...

Do you have any coverage of the Tiki ramp demos at Cal state Fullerton circa 1986-87? There was a big Schmitt stix logo and I believe the ramp was built by Tim Payne. The Gonz was skating the ramp and the campus wearing UCLA gear and I doubt that he even had a high school diploma?

Long Oster edit coming soon. Lost Julien and Jay footy and all that footy never recovered. (For those who don't know I had filmed most of Risk It and the van got stolen with all the footy, camera, everything...so when you watch the video most of what you see was re shoots of the riders re-doing what they already did. Some were over it, some were like "hell yeah, I'll do it better".)

Perhaps a bit buzzed. He was fired up that's for sure. Thought he was gonna grab me at one point. I wouldn't film random street people like that nowadays. I was a crazy kid and video cameras just came out. People didn't really realize they were being filmed as I would cover the red indicator light with black tape and turn it on, hold the camera under my arm and just rush fools.
