The majority of these trends certainly overlap into digital products too. For instance for the capsule wardrobe trend: you could create digital guides about 1) 'how to create a capsule wardrobe for beginners' or 2) '30 day wardrobe decluttering challenge' OR you create digital templates that help people create a catalogue of what to pair with a particular piece of clothing to speed up their outfit choices, dressing time or holiday packing etc. ✨ Lots of opportunities for top selling digital products too! ✨ Re: decrease in sales due to the economy - this will depend on how well you execute your sales and marketing strategy. If you're waiting for people to come to Etsy, search for your products and buy them then your sales will no doubt be affected. Because... if people are being more careful with their disposable income, then they're not going to go out and actively look for places to spend it. Instead you need to meet them where they are (e.g. social media, email inbox etc) and create demand and desire for your products in order to create awareness, desire and achieve sales.

Hi, I am from the UK and just starting my pod Etsy business, I was wondering what to do about the refund policy, because we have the 14 day cooling off period and i cant do that because I am doing pod business model

For years now I considered starting an Etsy shop. One thing kept me from doing so because there is one big problem. I am from South Africa. Yes, I can open an Etsy shop, no problem, but I saw in some videos on YT that Etsy favours USA shop owners, and that means they will rank only USA based Etsy shops and gives them all the exposure above all others. If that is true, that means EVEN THOUGH I will pay the exact amounts to them (listing and all other fees) as any USA based shop, I will get punished because I am from another country. So, my money is good enough for them but I get discriminated against simply because I am not situated in the USA. That is bad and not fair at all. Can you please confirm whether this is true, or not. Any comment from anyone will be appreciated. Thank you.

Etsy do not only rank USA shops. All Etsy shops have the same opportunity to achieve sales. However, Etsy do personalise the search results based on a shopper's location so if they are located within in the USA then if a USA shop has what they are looking for and has a good rank then they will be shown higher up in the search results because they are closer (meaning 99% of the time, they'll be able to order and receive their product quickly).

@@creativesmallbusinessclub Thank for your answer - much appreciated. Just because Etsy show USA based shops to USA buyers first, makes that they discriminate against other shops outside the USA. Because if I was to sell on Etsy, my main target market would have been USA clients, not South Africans. But I won't reach them because I am not USA based. So, I will get 'punished' for that which is unfair and wrong. And for that reason, I will most probably not sell on Etsy.
