Hello Nick nice suit, looking over the new dock area at the Mersey end (sorry not from your neck of the woods) ( A Spurs fan) the new wooden slat's being laid in front new water effect paving 3 minutes 55 seconds in from the start of this video. I wish the stadium could have more ornate decoration around the outside of the stands. Like ornaments around the main large entrance on the east and west stands and awnings over the turnstiles. I've mentioned stained glass before and heard it was because of limitations upheld because of listed buildings or the heritage mob . Well we've lost the heritage badge so let's get the decorations out .

Nick, great vid as ever. I am slightly concerned about the steepness of the stands, especially the South stand. I realise it's an intentional and integral part of the design. I remember being quite unexpectedly nauseous and anxious on my first arrival at the top balcony. I've seen videos of former players climbing the steps to the rear of the South stand and they are knackered and say they couldn't bring a drink up so far. Just concerned about the convenience and accessibility to fans who are maybe less able than others

Nick, I shall refrain from making a joke of your suit, tempting though it is. It already looks as though everyone else is jumping on the bandwagon. Good to see that it's a BLUE suit, though. My favourite suit is blue. PoI: 1) @ 4:14 mins, we can see that they have laid a second area of Composite Decking on the Lower Promenade. 2) @ 4:58 mins, Nick, they're Blue-glazed bricks around the vertcial sides of the two-tiered bench concrete structure. There are at least 3 shades of blue being used. The glazing is the same as tiles would be and we shall have to see what they lay on the horizontal surfaces now. 3) I think the cut-throughs have been signed up as B, C and D. I don't think the lettering for the Tower Gates is there yet. Not sure how I feel about the rusty steel finish being used. 4) @ 11.03 mins, propped against the fourth-from-the-left back black panel there are two wood-like panels that have apertures cut in them. A pure guess, maybe they are the surrounds for the proposed TV screens that are being fitted onto the hidden side of the black panels. 5) @ 13:51 mins, we can see that the hydraulic four-legged orange cherry-picker/crane/lift (whatever it's called) has been used for a contractor to fit some white horizontal poles off the bottom of the barrel-cladding at the NE end. I assume this is for the lighting OR illuminated signage, much as can be seen along the bottom of the South Stand Window.

Going off point 5, That's what I think it's for as well. I think it's to continue the ambient lighting right the way along so it all stays at the same height due to the roof dropping down another level. It will keep the same lighting effect then right across the barrel cladding 👌🏻

Great video Nick. The black boxes dark brown close up, called 'The Enclosure', groups of x4 seats together, with screens/concierge service to seats - all sold out. The glass doors behind lead to 'Dock on One' x3 restaurants and a bar called The Yard, again all sold out - club clearly making more money than previous as sold on x3 year contracts 👍

@@mikeoglen6848 It definitely will Mike, but I was thinking more about fans trying to get tickets for the home games. 13,000 more fans in B.M.D. than Goodison. I am sure there will be a lot more disappointed not being able to get tickets. I honestly believe we could fill a 60,000 plus stadium easily. we have battled relegation for the last few seasons, yet our home games have all been a sell out.

Nick, regarding the dock wall question, they have repaired the parts that are damaged with stone that does not match the original. It is the type of detail that sends the heritage police mad.

If you mean inside, I think some of the concrete walls will be dressed or painted blue. Guessing this is something EFC will do once the completed build is handed over to them by LOR, along with most of the other fit-out touches.

Dan: the personalised stones will be part of The Everton Way, which will be laid along the South Concourse between the wind-baffle structures and balustrade lining Nelson Dock and the base of the South Stand steels. There's been no updated indication of when internal works will get completed. All we know is that LoR are supposed to complete their work by or in November, then EFC will be undertaking their Customisation, which includes the Everton Way.

Re: DuncThe Blue comment that the northern access road is 5.5 metres wide at its narrowest pont, Premier Legaue buses are 2.55 metres wide, it will be fine. Re: Mr Drone Your own comment in the video that someone get me on a coach and I'll prove it. The real question: Is the northern access road going to be a 1 lane or 2 lanes system? Because 2 coaches trying to pass each other going in opposite directions looks painfully tight to me. In all you videos, it has always struck me on how much how space the Company next door (can't find any details about who this is) has available on Loverose Way, and yet it is always empty!

There won’t be two buses passing each other under the north stand overhang. The access security guards will control traffic. Before the game it’ll be one way towards the west wharf. After the game, one way exiting. The road won’t be busy and will be closed a couple of hours before and after the game to protect fans. United Utilities own the waste water treatment works next door (north).

Cormac: the TV and Radio commentary desks will be located on the same wide platform as the main TV Camera at the front of the Upper Tier of the West Stand. The TV Studio is in the right-hand/eastern half of the windows above the Pitch Access Tunnel in the NW Corner. The Press Box is located in the back few rows of the middle of the West Stand.

Not the gantry, usually you would see tables with the commentator and his guest at each section, say for instance the stadium was hosting a World Cup match, you would see commentators from about 20 different countries with their side kicks at these box’s or sections. 100 percent outdoors. These sections are usually placed high up on the stand where the players tunnels are situated. At old Trafford they are situated behind the directors boxes on the Bobby Charlton stand.

Big question is how does it go from 52,888 to 62,000? Rail seating is a 1.1 ratio and isn't being increased to 1.3 per seat like in Germany. I presume ir will be the North Stand but 9,112 seats? I'd say 3,000 at most levelling it out to the same size as the other 3 stands.

The north stand is as high as can possibly be because it’s right up to the boundary with United Utilities. The 62K can be achieved through a change in the law on safe standing, but this is highly unlikely because it’s not a government priority to change the law

Dan: no. The broad plan was for it to be a cafe and/or museum. Also, when Peel have completed the development of Liverpool Waters it will become the northern terminal of the Mersey Walk, with the South Terminal being at the National Gardens.

How will the coaches be able to turn around when it comes to the away fans leaving the ground? It doesn’t seem there’s much room to maneuver when the perimeter fence is finally installed, but I might be wrong. Will the away coaches park outside the away end (north east corner) before matches?

Lee: there'll be no coach movements one hour either side of the match and it's much more likely that they'll be about 2 hrs before and after. The only coaches accessing the site will be the Players Coaches. Away fans' coaches will not get further than the allotted parking, northwards up Regent Road. The coaches will drop off players on the West Plaza, then turn onto the southern Isolation Bridge and park up on the West Quay. Then they will travel back along the Northern Access Route when leaving, after the fans have left.

That area below the lower executive boxes with the black boards is for the really expensive seats with their own TV screens
