Is there any way that we can turnoff our laptop for the on-premise gateway? If we switched off, the data won't get refreshed.

As I always suggest, please install data gateways only on the machines/systems online 24/7, otherwise, once you turn off your machine, Power BI Data Gateway will be turned off too. Once you switch on your device, you need to turn it on again, otherwise, your data refresh won't work. Please don't install it on personal devices.
