Thank you, my friend. I was honestly getting worried for myself. I could feel myself slipping deeper and deeper into the depression. The hardest part of it all was for so many years I have encouraged others while they’re depressed and give them all the tips and tricks to try to overcome it, but here I was and I wasn’t able to do anything that I recommended to others. It was super scary and I could feel myself getting lower and lower. I’m Thankful for medication to help me get over this house. I’m gonna keep working out so I can get off the meds eventually. Thank you for giving me Grace and showing up for me. Some others have walked away because they said I was too depressing, which is really hurtful. But I am now learning that the people who stay or my people.

Lynn…..don’t put too much pressure on yourself to “get off the meds.” Many of us need to take them and/or have the dosage tweaked as we age. There are stressors in every stage of life. I have been on multiple anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds. My doctor works with me to help me stay on track. There are so many options out there; there should not be a stigma on mental health. I have had multiple highs and lows. I’m open with my family and friends, so that helps. God bless you and your family. You got this! 🙏❤️

I would do laundry over dishes any day. I seem to stick w finishing laundry. I just hate dishes! Laundry or dishes?? They both are so satisfying. Much better than scrubbing the bathroom. But a clean kitchen makes me feel the best. When my kids were younger, the best way to tackling the freshly washed clothes is sitting the kids in a circle with me, passing each of their clothes to them. They were to fold their own laundry and put away. It taught life skills and helped me with the load. Win, win! Now they’re teenagers and responsible for their own laundry. My babies are 18, and is graduating from HS today ♥️, a 17 year old and 15 year old. Pray for me today for it’ll be an emotional day for me for sure.

Oh mama, that is so hard. For me, the hardest part was how eager they were to MoveOn and grow up. Here I was as a mom I devoted my entire life to my kids and they were just so ready to leave the nest. Now looking back I know it’s a good thing, but in the moment it was so hard. Glad to hear you are doing something for yourself. I struggle with anxiety and depression too. A year ago the anxiety got so bad I decided to go on meds, and it has made a world of difference for me. Working out in combination with anti depressants has made all the difference for me.
