I always wished Brettonia in general had more magical stuff in general to really make them stand out as the magic humans to mirror the technology focused empire and this is an awesome variant of the faction

This was my favorite mod in warhammer 2. This will be my next campaign. Thanks for showcasing it. I looked for it a few months ago and could not find it. I am so happy its back in Warhammer 3.

Pretty amazing mod here. I'm not a huge fan of undead or Bretonnia, but this mod is making see them in a new way. I might actually try this mod, especially Mallobaude with how sick his design is and how cool the whole peasent undead mixed army thing sounds.

Yeah that's what I was hoping for too. Would be great to see some canons, but I guess the hybrid of two factions with notoriously little ranged options getting guns might be a little too much.

The Lady of the Black Grail is an *especially* deep cut - only ever mentioned in a handful of RPG supplements back in 2005 - with only one piece of semi-official art *Quote* A cup borne by Maldred’s consort - claimed to be the long lost Grail - was, in fact, not the Grail, but an artefact of considerable power. It was lost when Maldred, his consort, and much of the population of Mousillon died in the Red Pox of 1322. After these fowl occurrences, Knights from regions of Mousillon then after would often talk of being visited by the Lady of the Lake in their dreams, only this Lady is clad in dark robes and offers a grail full of blood-red wine, explaining that she must prepare the knights for the blood they soon will be called upon to spill in her name. Most do not drink. Most, but not all. *Unquote* The implication being that 'the consort' and the Dark Lady of the Bloody Grail are one and the same - with said consort managing to wipe out most of Mousillon for some unknown reason or goal - perhaps to ensure her own immortality and sway over future Mousillonian bloodlines

It's a lot of fun! Missing a tech tree though, so not sure if this will be added. Turns 1-15 were a bit tough on economics, but 20+ I had no more issues

Mallobaude being another vampire lord in end times was a mistake, he should have been the true hero of Lady against Chaos after the vision he saws were from the Great Deceiver.

Are you sure about that. Lady of the lake kinda uses the Bretonnians as her shield and makes them quest and quest and even kills them if they don’t “succeed” when they drink from the grail. Mallobaude is just trying to make Bretonnia stronger. (PS I’m roleplaying)

This mod and it’s warhammer 2 version made me comeback to Warhammer after many years of not playing. Hell, after I played the W2 version for a while I instantly bought W3 to only play this faction 😅

Thanks for the videos. One thing I would like to know with these mods is how they are when the AI uses them, or when I am playing against them. Does the mod break the AI if I'm playing another faction? I love adding these factions with their own flavor to IE, but its hard to playtest this myself...

Damn downloading this now! A mechanic I wish TW should have added was that mechanic to call out the enemy general in single combat, like in Three Kingdoms. It would have been great for Bretonnia, and quite a few of the other factions.

I wish that mechanic was used for Karl Franz. Yes Deathclaw is his pet but he is Emperor and they do have the Imperial Zoo. He should definitely have the choice for multiple mounts that could be unlocked by beating say an Elf faction to unlock the Dragon etc etc

@NeuralProdigy man, I feel sorry for you as I do for myself hahaha but I am glad I am not alone. Really frustrating. When I see and read about the mod and I am like "I need to play with that!" and then to realise that I can't is really fun killer. The only thing is to wait for the game to stop updating completely and even then, the chances are higher for mods to be finished and more compatible but very far from being a sure thing.

It's not made to be balanced. In fact lore wise, they'd have even more artillery. Mallobaude didn't give a hoot about chivalry so he didn't have anything holding him back from hiring gunpowder wielding mercs and artillery crews.
