Some people are hating on fairy tail. Everyone has their opinions but still I don't think it's a failure it has won awards and many people love it. It's not perfect, it had the power of friendship so what, they always win fights I know that and I know they're gonna win what keeps me watching is how they're gonna win, and it has fanservice. I don't mind it that much it's not all fanservice it has those touching and inspirational moments and cute and funny moments. I appreciate all the good things in fairy tail and I don't care what anyone says they aren't going to change my mind.

The tournament arc had Mirajane and jesse strip then the others girls came down to show off their body as well , if that's not too much of a fanservice then I don't know. Power of friendship is basically how they won their fight nothing special. You're saying like all the fights had a clever way of ending when none of them did. touching , inspirational moments ? Bullshit they keep yelling the same thing over and over. However I do agree that there were cute and funny moments but that does not make it good. Every anime is able to deliver cute and funny moments. Kobayashi dragon maid is full of cute moments but that does not mean it's a good anime. Btw no one says that it's a failure , it's just garbage. You can enjoy the anime all you want , I enjoyed the first few seasons as well but you can't deny the fact that the anime is garbage. And Eden zero is basically Fairy tail but sold in a different package. The music was great tough , Fairy tail did have some great OST and openings.

Great more friendship, I would honestly love Fairy Tail if there wasnt so much of it. Almost all fights happen with Natsu getting his ass handed to him at first , then he gives a speech about his friends, or Lucy gives it which gives him a huge nakama power boost. If its good then 2.5 years. It only takes that long because they need enough story to make episodes weekly, so if its good then it'll start soon. Look at boruto and db Super. Super completely left the chapters behind. The tournament started and they had one chapter of it meanwhile goku is fighting jiren. It the manga wasnt evwn half way through the tournament when the anime ended. Boruto is catching up too.

Fairy Tail is basically my childhood. I grew up watching this anime and till today, I still love it very much. Even if it's trash, or reeking of fanservice and ridiculous battle-physics this anime will always hold a special place in my heart. And I guess the ultimate form of love would be to love something even if it's trash or broken… to be able to love something even if the world is against whatever that something is. (became a bit philosophical at the end there but yeah here's my opinion :D so glad that FT still alive)

It certainly had its moments, but a LOT, and I mean A LOT of the content after the Tenrou Island timeskip was poorly written (almost laughably so in some areas) and shoehorned into the story for the sake of just adding content to the story. Poorly written AND poorly executed.

It is a bit too unoriginal at this point. His style is very original when it comes to his character design. However reusing things from your old work with no extra spin on it or a way to implement it comes off as annoying to readers of his old works. Dragons, cat companions, friendship, and fan service are present in his new works. At this point I don't want Fairy Tail 2.0. I want a series better than Fairy Tail that isn't so similar.
