that outro of them headbanging never fails to hype me. They destroyed in this concert.

they performed together 4 times and that idea was developed after the 1st or 2nd time. Babymetal had been doing the full body head bang a lot this year, but I think they first did it during BxMxC in 2021 at Budokan... anyway, it looks so cool

Good reaction. BMTH and BABYMETAL have been good friends since they first met in 2015 and have often spoken about wanting to collaborate. In 2019 BABYMETAL invited BMTH to tour with them in Japan and they opened for BABYMETAL at 4 of their arena shows ... this also helped in raising BMTH's profile in Japan. This song (it is a BMTH song) was recorded in 2020. BABYMETAL originally sent their contributions entirely in English, Oli Sykes asked them to include some Japanese. There is an official lyric video. It took 3 years before they could get together to play it live - this happened 4 times at all 4 NEX_FEST events that BMTH arranged in Japan around the start of November last year - this video was filmed at those shows. Several other bands also played of course and BABYMETAL had played their own set too - they came back out at all 4 events to perform this song with BMTH ... and you could tell from Moa's big grin into the camera and their group headbanging with Oli at the end that they were all having real fun together.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。They performed "REAL" Kingslayer (BMTH+BM on stage together) 4 times in Japan last year as a special rendition in the festival curated and hosted by BMTH. I witnessed the 2nd REAL one in Nagoya on Nov.1. That was mesmerizing 😍 and I forgot to breathe during the performance. In an interview Momometal made an interesting comment like : (1) The theme of this choreo is "collision of souls" that has an image like we throw the power multiplied by the two bands at the audience. (2) We danced with our fullest power and solid determination : "We do not care no matter what happens to us after the performance" I saw the girls literally do it. (BABYMETAL did this performance after their own strenuous one-hour show in the festival.) The one thing worried me was the statement at the end of this song in the final show in Tokyo on Nov.4. After joyful hugs with the girls, Oli said "We are never gonna play Kingslayer without them, ever again. Just not right." I know BABYMETAL and BMTH are going to appear in the same festivals this year in USA and Europe. I look forward to seeing them preform Kingslayer together again on those occasions. But BMTH should continue to perform this amazing and popular song even in a virtual mode without BM being actually there. (using recorded part of BM instead) (ps. I found BMTH played the "virtual" Kingslayer in the concert in Bangkok, Thai on Nov. 7 after Japan. And in 2024 BMTH started to use 3 CG figures resembling the girls on the backdrop. That's good 👍)

Great reaction! Respect to BMTH, ss they were supporters of BM from the very beginning. Not sure if you checked out Road of Resistance live from Japan with the 3 original members, yet. But it is one of THE best live performances of any band of any genre, IMHO! (Your playlist said there were 3 unavailable videos) Welcome to the Foxhole!🤘

The unavailable vids are just deleted videos because of copyright, but they're all available now. (I've only done 4 BabyMetal videos) But I will definitely check it out! 🦊

Nice reaction, hope to see you around with more BM songs. This was the best 2020 collab between this two great bands and we finally got this collab on the stage together after so much time waiting for it. BMTH performed at Southside Festival in Germany and Hellfest Festival, there's a nice proshot version but with only BabyMetal backing track vocals, luckily now we got this amazing clip showing them sharing the same stage at Makuhari Messe during a festival called "NEX_FEST" (held by BMTH) ending October and starting November last year, and they did it not only once but four times in a row, everyone went bonkers with these, you can also find fancams of each night showing some different interactions at the end between Oli and the girls, SuMetal thanked to BMTH in all of them, that's the only thing i can complain about this clip but it's cool anyway. BMTH couldn't have better collab on their latest album Post Human Survival Horror, there are some others really good songs there thou but this one is just on another level. My suggestions are: "Parasite Eve" and "Teardrops", also "Ludens" from Death Stranding OST videogame. This song was produced by Mick Gordon, the same behind videogames like Doom, Wolfenstein and Prey, so you can feel the vibes here. They're friends since 2015 when met each other at Kerrang Awards so the collab was almost naturally unavoidable. They even performed as a support band for BabyMetal and Oli praise the Fox God too (atheist, dame, zettai)🦊🤘 The drum&bass instrumental intro on this song is called "Itch For The Cure" which is clearly a tribute to Linkin Park song "Cure For The Itch", but the short animation and dialogue wasn't part of the album track, it's a reference to Metal Gear Solid videogame created by Hideo Kojima, they got another MGS tribute song called "Shadow Moses" and later in 2019 they were part of Death Stranding OST, another Hideo Kojima game. Also you can find a short documentary about the making of this song where Oli said interesting things about the method they worked with the BM team and giving multiple choice of doing this. Thanks for sharing this and see you next time.🤘🔥

Great reaction! For another view of the skills and amazing crowds check out Tails of the Destinies. Only performed live once! That was at Tokyo Dome in 2016 in front of a sold out 55,000 crowd and I was there! It’s an epic prog metal piece that is just amazing. So technical, so interesting and they even manage to pull off super complex choreography as well. Worth a reaction. 🤟🏻🤟🏻

Great reaction! Kingslayer was only an ok song for me until this video came out. Just seeing Moa having so much fun made it worth watching alone. Not that she doesn't always have fun, but I bet that smile can be seen all the way from the next galaxy. The funny thing about that Lul Uzi song is that I did not like Babymetal's part at all. I don't even remember the Uzi part. I just heard the Babymetal part and said nope, that is not for me. I'll stick to the songs where Su actually sings. Lol
@beakermeepmeep7 ай бұрын
The EDM characterization you were thinking about for BMTH has gotta be The Prodigy lol. I think Oli said (or was it Jordan Fish) they realized the band had to sound even wilder after hearing Su's vocals (which resonated so romantically) during the separated recordings. Anyway, the song was released in the 4Q of 2020 (audio only) & the lyric video already has 50M views, the majority of whom listened during the pandemic & were daydreaming about a live collaboration someday. Several fanmade video mashups (incorporating old BM footage) added to the craving for the real thing. BMTH toured with the song first (2021 to 2023), most memorably with The Matrix-like lyrics flashing on their stage LED backdrop during Su's parts (& their fans singing along). Their gigs eventually reached Japan in Nov 2023, where BMTH organized a curated 4-show music festival (Nex_Fest) partly to thank Asia for reviving their careers (& obviously to repay the invitation to support BM's Nov 2019 concerts in Japan). They performed Kingslayer together 4x during the encores (BM even prepared a choreographed dance for it, even though only Su participated in the original song & Momo was still a rotating Avenger in 2020), which yielded delirious fancams until the song's official live video was quickly released a month later (Dec 2023). (Fun fact: Maximum The Hormone also performed at the festival. Their female drummer, Nao, is long suspected to be the Nyango Star drummer of "When you're overqualified for the job" viral video on KZbin.) Now watch the fanmade "BRING ME THE HORIZON and BABYMETAL - Road to Kingslayer" video which chronicled how both of them first met, befriended each other, regularly namedropped each other in a show of support (BM unaware, purposely or not, of the flak BMTH & Oli were getting), & Oli describing their relationship on Skype in 2020.

Yes, you are right. Anything BabyMetal appears in turns to gold. What a great song you dont get Su and just get her to sing a little bit. You let her belt that song out 😁 and if you get the 3 of them live, you set them loose on the audience ❤❤❤😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

This is an extremely popular song among BMTH fans. It at least got the most views on of the same album songs released at the same time on their KZbin channel. Oli used to do a lot of harsh vocals and had a period of less harsh vocals as you said and he changed his technique over time and did a bit more again. A lot of Babymetal songs play with contrast, for example harsh vocals of a feat. and Babymetal vocals as high vocals. He said Babymetal inspired him to be that contrast and do more harsh vocals. So some people say his lyrics at the end: "Is this what you want ? This is what you f-ing get. You mother f-ing shit." is directed to the fans who complains he doesn't use harsh vocals enough. 🙂
Given her voice is so good, i know the song that's going to top your nr 1 and 2: No Rain No Rainbow (Budokan 2021 Live)

When the people speak about "Dubstep" it's impossible not to think in the song called "Uki Uki Midnight". It's a good choice if you want to hear more of the "Yui's era" of Babymetal. 10:28 If you react to Metali! (Feat Tom Morello) it is highly recommended to do so with the official live music video, but the videoclip it's so cool too. (Maybe both 👀)

And if you like rap, their song 'BxMxC' is pretty good. I could go on and on with songs that are great but I'm not lol. People that hated on BMTH are simply people that cannot accept that a Band does not create music for their fans but for themselves. Whenever people venture into the music industry their original reasoning isn't going to be ''I did it for the fans''. The is that these people have a passion for music and want to be creative about it. My favorite band is Linkin Park which had the same issue as BMTH that fans started hating on them once they moved away from their ''signature'' sound. We as fans need to adapt to changes of the band. The band isn't required to change towards the demands of the fans.

BMTH are better now they've mixed it up. You're right. The band are not hear to just satisfy 1 group if fans. I would be so bored if they were still making deathcore. I like all their styles. And now they're mixing all those sounds together. Couldn't be happier. It's so interesting and has the passion in it aswell. Love that they went full linkin park in teardrops and X1. And it was deliberate too. As you probably already know. Kind of a tribute to 1 if the bands influences. I got into BMTH because I heard the slight linkin park sound they had in Sempiternal. Now I love them more. Seeing them live is insane

Here for BMTH. This collab is nuts. Its a long time since you Heard BMTH. You should really check out their new sound. The survival horror ep and their up coming survival horror next gen. The songs that have been released are 🔥 They did go down the rock pop scene. But niw rheyre heavy again with all their sounds mixed together and it sounds so good. They don't currently fit into a genre. Still metal vut mixed elecronic and all styles of metal in 1. AmEN Kool-aid Darkside Dear diary Teardrop's (linkin park vibes) Ludens LosT 1x1(linkin park vibes) and all done very deliberately as a kind of tribute as they were so influenced by them. Their streams sound quite similar at times. They've changed so much, and for the better. Trust me. They did a song with lil Uzi on their album and his. And it sounds eay better than what he tried with babymetal. That was a terrible representation of a sing if i ever heard 1. But AmEN is sick. Cabt really tell it's Uzi Really hope you guve them a go. I'll defo subscribe. Will have a look through tour playlist anyhow.
