New fancy interior - GT1 Lamborghini Murcielago road car + other updates

We're getting ready for Players Classic this weekend, so I thought I should show you what we've been up to on the GT1 Lamborghini Murcielago road car project since you last saw it.

This is everything a Lamborghini should be. Outrageous in every sense and yet has actual racing pedigree too. I suspect that ride height might be its Achilles heel as a driving experience, especially on the road (wouldn't you be scared shitless by every undulation??) but it seems Phil is less fazed by this than most.

So pretty Phil and Jay, the interior colour scheme of dark grey with Alcantara and white stitching is timeless. So glad you have kept it reserved and minimalist with the rear numberplate logo, very classy. Down the track you could do a super oversized driftworks diagonal logo in white or DW orange in removable vinyl, would give it a Japanese feel if you were to logo it for temporary promo, again not required but could be fun if you mocked it up. Less it more. The 3D printing and click to send for shift gate was awesome to see too. The metal Bolt in front diffuser scrub plates are truly beautiful, I was waiting for your solution, here and doing only partial cover for most likely scrub on the outer edges makes sense. Loving the projects and he videos, take care DW team.

Thanks man. I wouldn't want anything like that on the car even temporarily. I've actually never been a fan of stickers of any kind on bodywork. Sometimes it has to be done (on my competition cars) and I don't mind what we have on the E30 M3 for example, but I'm a big fan of keeping cars looking clean.

@@driftworks It’s truly a sculpture I love it. Any chance you guys could do a 3D scan of this 1 of 1 masterpiece next to a 3D stock Murci. I think the dimensional differences would be interesting to see what Lamborghini rolled out of the factory vs this project. Even comparing your Lambo next to the Liberty Walk LB-Works Lamborghini Aventador which is a wicked looking car but next to the DW Lambo the LW Avendator starts to take on cyber truck vibes. Your GT1 looks amazing Phil and that colour is perfect, nice work all of you. Please can I ask a little more about the electric vacuum pump you used as I could do with something similar for my Porsche Boxster for its exhaust valves as the aftermarket dansk exhaust that I have on it starts valves open by default but the valves never usually fully close from the vacuum if I switch it into quiet mode? If you could advise what part I should search for that would be greatly appreciated thanks as I could then start it in quiet mode and actually make use of the system rather than just run it loud all of the time. Thanks

She really needs Skyline GT R34 style, recessed round tail lights set in carbon with bullet style epoxy glass lenses for each of the thick offroad style L.E.D bulbs and matte smoked leanses draped over them...and Im sorry but that exh needs a top exit with F1 style aero oval tips...back slanting a bit but level trimmed and inward rolled tip surrounds..oh yeah did I mention that the rear bumper needs get cut at extreme ends tyre width with vertical panels attached with cf rods to reduce backdraft...aero stuff? ...But u leave the top horizontal panel, middle and bottom parts but trim with cf to neaten up everything ...
