@@tomatosoup5056 higher the p512 tires have about the same stats but these are wider as for performance it is too simple to just look at tires in mud drag matters so much ingame that you will likely have places where 512 is better and others where w990 is better

kinda disappointed we didn't get two trucks this season because we got two scouts with the last, not to mention that the scout for season 12 looks remarkably similar to the Neo Falcon

True, 2 trucks would be nice. I would like to see a mini version of femm. Nice beast, I like how it looks but it would be nice to get something similar but off-road category. Tatra Phoenix seems similar but it is a forgotten truck by devs without a crane.

Every fuel canister holds exactly 20l of fuel so you can easily count them up and see how much you're getting from your trunk repair supplies.

I'm actually more excited by the fact that this is a 4-map region. The Femm 37-AT gives me 'Russian Kenworth 963' vibes, and that's okay. The MTB 8106 just makes me ask "What's the point?" Unless it has some special ability, this looks too similar to the NeoFalcon 2000, which in turn I have used on two tasks in the whole Scandinavia gameplay. Thanks for this 'first look'. I love all the new Trucks that have been added with all the new seasons but 1 change I would love for the old vanilla models is the option for repair kits and reserve fuel. All of the newer trucks made the old ones kinda redundant because they have reserves on their cabins and the old ones don't.

The FEMM 37-AT feels a lot like a russian Kenny 963. The floating 4 slot bed seems nice at first. But if the FEMM does not get the crane with the 4 slot bed, the Kenny can still haul more when overloading. (no 4 slot cargo though)

Well there are alot of things still we need to look at before we make claims like this in my small humble opinion. I honestly dont know if its gonna be as strong as the Kenny, Power wise it probably will be for engine power

I feel like the Rock Grinder would do REALLY well if it had a unique suspension setup that would allow an automatic active suspension that would try to automatically level the vehicle that could be toggled to off, raised, and adaptive. After all, it’s easy to see it’s meant to be a VERY modern scout, and some new vehicles in real life have an advanced sway bar setup

This could be the first vehicle with articulated steering to drive nice. Toggle diff lock helps a lot to remove the massive understeer.

It seems like snowrunner devs may be finally giving us something that people have been wanting for years with the "Reactive Zone" map. People have been asking for something like a radioactive waste area for a while now. I also see the regional objective pointing to a power plant build. The FEMM reminds me of a tatra pheonix on steroids which could be really good but the Rock Grinder seems like another falcon. I'd rather have bad trucks (not saying the FEMM is bad) and good maps than good trucks and bad maps though.

I don't know how I feel about this. Another American state, but 2 non-american vehicles. A Yamal - Russian super-heavy polar exploration truck - is the new region harder than Amur? I doubt that. Also the description of the region says we will have no snow again... Plus another basic template scout which resembles the Mercedes G-class. Always on AWD and standard gearboxes? seems like a bad decision. Why the devs keep adding old scouts with the same Het 5.0 engine as top with only 46k torque? It's a shame compared to what the Russian scouts have from the very times Amur has dropped - a 72k torque "Kastom" engine. We don't need another scout like this - and with small wheels again. Useless.

Ya i think thats disappointing. No American truck in an american region. Also i think i misspoke the HET 5.0 is 50k torque not 60. I cant seem to disagree with anything your saying. I was hoping for trucks from their respected regions

Hope the MTB's engine doesn't sound like a lawnmower. That's what the Neo Falcon and Jeep Wrangler's engines sound to me at certain revs. Like the Femm's unique 4-slot bed, it looks more European than the generic sideboard bed. It shouldn't struggle as much climbing hill with its stock engine as the Kenworth, 205K vs 175K.

Knowing Saber the crane only works with the 2-Slot bed. MAYBE they'll pull a 5600/Kensworth and give you a 3-slot bed + trailer + crane ability. But I'm telling you now with where they got that small crane positioned, there is no chance we're getting 4-slot bed + crane ability.

@@NProvince btw question. So I checked out your results of the offroad tires, and tests I've seen from Tribe Called Cars it seems the new GAT IV is the best truck mud tire. But do you know what might be the best super heavy (KOLOB and such) mud tire? I'm running JAT III atm

So the new JAT IV, you mean as the best JAT Tire? Compared to other tires outside of the Mud Heavy Singles; they get beat by tires shown on my video like the Offroad tires. In truth all the JAT MHS tires have very very similar results in tests if you look at the data shown. Also on my samer video the MSH2 beat all the JATs still with a KOLOB, but the 2nd best was the JAT MSH3. Alll my tests have been cross checked with other testers like SD1ONE and a few other folks.

@@NProvince I only use offroads on offroad exclusive trucks. While slower I like having muds on trucks that support them for clawing though the really deep snow and more swampy areas. So I only care about each tire in it's own category, not offroad vs muds or anything. So the MSH2 is still the best for super heavy trucks then.

They've generally not been able to get licensing rights from Russian state owned companies (Revzani is a private company), and they certainly aren't going to now. And I suspect they didn't even bother trying to get licensing rights from KrAZ which is Ukranian state owned. Tatra is part of the VW group these days which opens the potential of MAN and Scania to be in the game (the MANKat would be a great addition to the game).

As of right now it appears the Femm truck’s small crane is too far forward to really load anything on a high saddle trailer without turning the truck in a weird way or disconnecting and pulling along the side of the trailer

I really hope they start adding better content to this game, we need new loads and new trailers desperately!! I haven't played Yukon but I really like the way they were going with the unique cat trailer and rock load. I want more of that, more realsitic loads and cargo. I was so dissapointed with the hay bales in season 8. Fit like 5 of them on a sideboard and the tayga struggles... My friend hauls 10, 5x5 rows of hay bales with his F150 Lariat easily where I live. I was massively dissatisfied with that.

So what you gotta understand is the weights of this cargo is quite a bit and alot of these hill climbs these trucks do with load is much more than normal trucks could pull in real life. The hay bails, I understand, but i truth the game was never really realistic. I mean yesterday on stream I pulled something up a 45 degree grade under crazy stress which isnt realistic at all.

Personally I would like to see more Mack’s/Kenworth’s ingame. Also only 2 trucks for this expansion is somewhat disappointing, and there are tons of great trucks suggested in the Discord too, so there’s no reason to not add more trucks in the DLC’s.

Season 4 Only had 2 trucks and still was a pretty good season. We currently have 89 vehicles which is quite bit. We actually have more DLC trucks than Base Game Non DLC vehicles

@@NProvince89 trucks is a good amount. Though with the Mack and Kenworth licensing they should totally add some of them. Especially Mack, a DM, U and R model would fit the game well. I just don’t see why they would rather add non licensed trucks instead of licensed trucks.

I was hoping for three new trucks as the final phase. Like the early phases, 1-3, 6 or 8. But WHY another scout. The previous DLC gave me enough of these small scouts. The Burlak was great tho, my favourite besides the Ford F750 or the Tuz Actaeon, which is basically a hybrid scout/truck. The FEMM looks decent. Reminds me of a modern, Russian, heavy duty cabover, but personally, I was hoping to see a classy American heavy truck or a new heavy duty. A Mack R or something. I'll go have a look myself then I had no idea the PTS had an update. Looks like the game will come to an end in two or three months then. A shame, as I dedicated a lot of hours into it, but I'll come back playing hard mode with my friend. This game carried me through the sad part of lockdown and much more. It was a game I loved, but, all things come to an end, even good ones. Hopefully, this season will be memorable and to "go out with a bang", before I try Expeditions.

Now I am really disappointed. Look at the regional goals. We are building the power plant. It actually means that most likely there won't be any new mechanics. So no radioactive zones, like many expected. Probably, just a lot of nuclear fuef to deliver. Boring. Summer region in US. We just had BC in Canada. This is going to be exactly the same scenery. Even more boring. New trucks all fictional. No licensed trucks any more. Come on, there are tons of cool trucks from Ford, GMC, Kenworth, Mack, even other Burlaks that you could give us. But instead we have these abominations that look awful and play the same. We don't need OP trucks. We need good interesting maps.

Already not at all liking the new trucks... The 37-AT is another giant truck that I'll never use due to it's massive size...and the Scout is just another Falcon 2.0...but (currently) no lift. Seems very gimmicky tbh. Not liking where SR is going for vehicles since Scandinavia... Also, North Carolina is cool though. 4 map? Not so much a fan of anymore. Too grindy and too much logistics. 2, maybe 3 with 2 garages and 70-80 missions is perfect. And I'ma be mad if North Carolina has any snow 😂

Also, the bias towards Russian trucks supremacy has never been stronger than ever. The devs just couldn't let the Americans reign: the most powerful engine in the game is on the Derry Special ? no problem, let's give the FEMM even more power! the Americans are the only who have a 4-slot bed truck - no problem, let's give the new truck a 4-slot bed AND trailer as well. Who will need the Twinsteer now? Another Azov Antarctic with 71" tires, always on AWD and switchable difflock is bad. The regular addon look weird on that, especially the IM50 crane. Why not the KRS or Tatra crane?
