As always? Idk about that. I actually thought the standard SF90's rear looked like the face of a pug or at least gave me the same feeling when looking at it. As if someone "booped" the rear to hard or drove it into a wall. They shouldve made it a bit similar to the 296 GTB.

I'm surprised they wen with the 'XX' name indication. Previous 'XX' models such as the Enzo and LaFerrari were track only, whilst the names 'Pista', 'TDF' and 'Competizione' were kept for the road.

I really dont get it. an XX car that has an electronically retractable roof??... and please correct me if im wrong but arent all previous XX cars v12's?? i dont know why they didnt just use one of the many other names they have available for special road cars. XX cars are for their clients who want the whole "track only racing program weekend racer thing". really weird choice to break up that program.

Exactly. And don’t forget about the “we don’t like fixed rear wings so not to spoil the profile of the car” but now they need it to go against the GT3RS Just Ferrari being Ferrari. Keep in mind there may be a future special livery commemorating the Le Mans victory so it’ll probably be named Testarossa or something logical like that

The only thing I'd say about this car... it isn't massively lighter than before, it doesn't produce loads more power either. It looks more aggresive, it'll be a few seconds faster around the track and it costs more. Hmm, it seems more a stop gap whilst we wait for the next LaFerrari replacement.

The Pista only had only 50 hp more than the 488 gtb and was faster on the Nurburgring by 21 seconds. In other tracks was about 5 seconds faster. So definitely the XX is going to be more than a "few" seconds faster than the normal sf90.

To me, if the wing had active aero and they had given the engine a bit more thought (or even used a different engine) it would feel far more special. I mean, it doesn't even look as good or aggressive as an 812GTS?!

The F8 Tributo itself is a special version,it has also been discontinued and replaced by the 296 GTB,those cars are not simultaneously sold by Ferrari.

Ferrari FXX k Evo has one out of the 30 made road legal and there is a conversion kit to do so if any of the other owners wish to do so a bit like what Aston Martin did with the Vulcan 😉

@WahabGoldsmith well, the reason why they didn't carry over is that they wanted to do something different to better differentiate it from the original. They want to make it look unique so customers who are buying feel like they have something special. That's what ferrari is known for, samething that they did with cars like the 812 competizione. I can see your point though.

I believe a better comparison is the La Ferrari and it’s track only variant, FXX K evo. Redesigns is warranted, but a change of the character entirely is strange. Anyway, I believe you see my point. Just a strange decision from Ferrari.

I normally tend to lean towards the McLaren variant just because I usually don't like to always pick the obvious brands but faaaakkkkk lol The SF90 and the 765LT are 2 super-cars bordering hyper car... I m going to guess this thing is basically a hyper car and in some cases might take down other "hyper" cars at least. The SF90 has brutal speed, this thing has to be lighter and have more power which is INSANE...

One thing i really dislike is when Manufacturers dilute their "special" names, like merc with the 63 badges on 4 cylinder cars or bmw with the Mperformance badges on 116i's. The XX program was meant for clients who actually wanted to be a part of ferrari's CORE purpose and engineering products, track only cars made from already crazy road cars. Making a road legal XX means a ham fisted billionaire or his 17 year old son on an L license are gonna have access to this thing. If they can afford it and ferrari allows it, more power to them, but i just dislike it when special names are brought back and diluted.
