I like the new type of doors for moving the trucks. Some of ours are like yours where you have to back in and others have the back doors, which I think is easier.
@NVConservative5 жыл бұрын
Back doors are essentially safer also, because it eliminates having to back in to the structure. Backing accidents are/were (not sure if it still is) one of the leading accident causes. And for some reason even with spotters things still got hit. It happens.

Wow. I live in Southern California, but I know one thing, I’d move to Colorado just for an opportunity to work for SMFR. Going through a ff1/2 academy right now. So far I’ve earned my HAZMAT FRO and FRO-D, Fire Control 3B, Firefighter Safety and Survival.. and multiple other certifications both from the structural and wildland sides. I’ve been watching SMFR videos for about a year or so and it seems like one of the best departments ever. I love the videos.

Really loving the videos, here is a suggestion for you, pick someone who is applying for your dept,follow him/her from initial application, through testing, through academy and then to first rig assignment. While so interview them on how they are preparing for the next step in the process (exercise program for physical, how they prepare for interview etc) I know this would be long, and seeing it in writing, it might be better to have them video as much as they can themselves, for those that don't make it.)

Hi Eric and Connor & greeting from Australia, thank you for the tour of station 32 I'm located In a remote part of Australia where all our fire brigades are staffed by volunteers, In rural Australia our firefighting agency is known as the CFA (Country Fire Authority). I'm a brigade member but not an active firefighter due to medical reasons. Our town's tiny fire station got a new building several years ago & we are equipped with 3 vehicles, Here's a documentary on our town's fire brigade which celebrated its centenary a few years ago: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q32rg4eOqZpqnrM
