Nice white squirrel! I live near Exeter Ontario which has an unusually large population of white squirrels. They're not albino but leucistic

Quick question about driftwood: how do you prepare it, if you prepare it at all, before putting it in the pit? I found a couple really nice bleached pieces in a river I want to introduce to my 180 gallon.

Honestly I don’t prepare it at all. Worst case sometimes I’ve noticed some water mold on a couple but snails or plecos love to eat that. I do leave it sit out in the sun for about a week to totally dry out.
