First of all, download all the updates for Windows itself (this actually helped me), if this does not help, then you can try other options

After a few months, I received an Inaccessible Boot Device message trying to start up windows. Interestingly enough, the drive's files were readable and browsable using cmd, but it seemed like windows just could not detect the boot partition. So I chose to do a windows reset and keep my files. This worked, but since then I have had two security messages (Standard hardware security not supported in Device Security, and Page not Available as above). Windows defender cannot scan files via right clicking on files either. Unfortunately this reset did not work, and other fixes suggest to make sure TPM and virtualisation are on, or to switch off and on via the bios. Nothing makes a difference so it seems to be a windows bug in both 10 and 11. The system is malware free. The initial error of inaccessible boot device could be down to my m2 ssd having issues (samsung evo 970 plus) but I am not completely sure. I will probably do a full reinstall at some point after moving everything temporarily to an external ssd, but I am sure the fix above may work for many. Thanks anyway

The main problem I noticed mentioned in media was with the Samsung 980. I'm not sure if it affects the 970, but the 980's were in need of firmware updates before they went into read only mode and gave up. You can probably use samsung magician to update the drive before it's too late, for anyone with a 980 or a similar model. I think I used Rufus to write windows to an sd card. By default I think it removes tpm2 and other requirements, so perhaps a conflict might relate to the issue after using the reset, if it's not just down to the m2 or a windows bug. I'll know it's the latter if I wait for the next major windows OS update which may fix the problem, given they are essentially an OS refresh, although some new articles report microsoft supposedly want to switch to an update model with smaller updates, in which restarts are no longer necessary, or required as often ps I should also add that I had a habit of updating the bios beforehand, but I've decided to now leave that alone to weed that out as a potential cause @ueta

Pretty sure it happens when you get a virus. This virus takes over your computer and prevents you from using defender to scan your computer and delete it. I had this warning after I disabled my defender to download and open an .exe. Next day I open my computer up and get this warning, which I just knew was bad, but I was still able to use my defender scan.
