Yeah I've had this exact thing happen to me. When i got out of the army and moved back home my friends threw me a party that the police got called to and there was some gang members there and they started trying to harass the shi+ outta me. I wasn't having though i went to the police department and sat down with the chief and told him i wasn't going to stand for it in harsher terms than that. He not only put a stop to the harassment but he also made all the tickets they were illegally giving me disappear. You gotta stand up for yourself when you're in the right no matter who it is thats harassing you

My last arrest was some BS a cop smashed my head through a window literally and I got charged with resisting since it was only a misdemeanor and I didn't want to stay in jail I took it.. when I got my property back I had almost $500 missing out of my wallet.. since I was already at the police station I said I want to talk to the chief that his said that his officers are great people and would never do that blah blah blah! They prey on the poor by charging us with 4-5 charges for the sole reason they know we can't afford to fight the BS so we end up taking a "deal" where they drop all the bogus charges to get us on the one. Myself, sister & both my Mother & Father in 1997 got beat up by some officers from Newton Division LAPD & it was on tv news but nothing was done to those officers involved. Yeah, the cops have all the good PR behind them even though they’re just as dirty or even worse than the people they go after. This whole witch-hunt/Rico case against Florencia is only because Florencia took out one of their own officers. But if it was a regular everyday citizen that was taken out, the cops wouldn’t care that much. That right there shows you that there’s a bias and favoritism in their policing. The citizenry that pays their salaries through their taxes are not a priority to them.
