What's the point. It's going to effect the tuning.

This is 5% more convenient than taking the neck off. There is almost no situation where you would need this. Who can’t spend 10 minutes tuning and screwing a neck on and needs to travel constantly with a full size guitar that cannot otherwise be stored. Everyone knows it kills the string tone when you take them on and off and everytime this guitar folds it’s doing the same thing. Certainly not making them stronger and more reliable.
