Good old sound from 2000's we rarely see these days. Thank you new found glory for keeping the spirit of this style alive; This is pretty much gone these days. Still doing fast tempo songs too. This makes me feel back when blink 182 was hiting hard in 2001, along with all the other pop punk rock bands from that time like sum 41, simple plan, good charlotte... i remenber the first time i ever listened to "enema of the state" and "the young and the hopeless" i was so attached to it. Such great times man. Mtv was great at the time too.

New Found Glory can put out the same music on every album and it will never get old, unlike other bands. Its because they produce a different feel in your chest that no other band does. They are not commercial.... You would know that if you have been following them for years and listened to their whole album. The music will grow on you. There are NFG songs that I was not a fan of the first 5 times I heard them but you just fall in love anyway because its NFG! They will NOT be a band to split up and 3 years later people say "Oh my god, I didn't even know they broke up." Jordan said on the live album that he wants to be 80 in a walker singing the same songs over and over and that they will never get old and they will continue to release new music. People LOVE NFG which is why their shows still sell out.

Man I'm reading all these comments dissing the NFG single. Sad. I've supported every single thing this band has done for 15 years and will continue to do so. I own all their songs, saw them in concert twice, met them. They are an example of a good down to earth band. And I'll be going to see them in October for the 3rd time. I've listened to this band more than half my life. They have cheered me up during some tough times in life. They are also one of the sole pop punk groups to stay TRUE to themselves and their fans. They have my support always. #newfoundglory #15years

Why is everyone commenting that NFG is making fun of 5SOS? It should be obvious that this a parody of ANY (pop punk) band starting up and gaining mass popularity in their early years of being together. It not only applies to NFG THEMSELVES and 5SOS but also Fall Out Boy, All Time Low, and many other "pop punk" bands. Calm down guys.

All bands inspire one another. The music industry is a community, similar to a friend group. No shit bands pull things from one place and place them in another. NFG is commercial along with all of the other band’s music you purchase or shows you attend. Commercial = accessibility to the general public. It is towards your advantage and there is nothing wrong with that. Put an end to the negative antagonistic views on KZbin and instead, use your energy for something better. Praise NFG along with other projects for their hard work and dedication to serving their fans for multiple years on end. #NFGAtItOnceAgain

Everyone who doesn't understand the concept of the video should go read Chad's Twitter. This video isn't making fun of 5SOS or bands like that. It's making fun of the people who said NFG looked old in the Selfless video.
@shanedunlop874810 жыл бұрын
Does no one listen to the lyrics? New found are saying they have gone through the effort to be a band for 15 years and they are willing to do what it takes and have. Then they ask the question do other young bands have what it takes. They are not making fun of any particular band just these new bands that pop up and become big but in the long run can they survive and will they?
@grimshot9810 жыл бұрын
Without New Found Glory 5SOS wouldnt be the same you people Because All Time Low is Inspired by New Found Glory, and 5SOS is also partly inspired by All time low
@mauridaherg10 жыл бұрын
Yeah, no... All Time Low kinda just got their name from New Found Glory. I believe both All Time Low and 5SOS (do we really have to take them seriously?), as well as Fall Out Boy while we're on the subject, were inspired by blink-182. Now, which bands inspired blink-182...

Qwerty Mierda but probably all time low listened to new found glory. they wouldnt find the name all time low if they didnt listen to their songs

Yeah i also think ATL are inspired by blink. but i only want to say that 5Sos fans should stop saying "theyre making fun of 5sos" because i really think theyre not.. i even believe that they respect 5sos because maybe they think 5sos are the future of pop punk or not. well its just an opinion.

People saying NFG changed are not paying attention to the music. This album is no different than anything they've put out in the past. Listen to the new album then go listen to Sticks and Stones. How is My Friends Over You or Sonny or Head On Collision a different style from Ready and Willing or Stories of a Different Kind or Selfless? And regardless of your opinion they have not taken a step back live. Still phenomenal.

If you're really a big NFG fan, you'll notice the similarities of this video to their very first hit "Hit Or Miss" and the the meaning of the song actually alludes to their earlier days. Fans of 5 Seconds of Summer stop being so sensitive.
@TheSk8ernij10 жыл бұрын
To all those who say NFG have sold out or this doesnt sound like them etc you obviously havent listened to their back catalogue of music. There are plenty of songs like this. The song to sounds like theyre singing about when they first formed and looking back on their youth. The video is in a way taking the piss out of 5SOS but as a few others have said its not directly aimed at them. Its aimed at the industry as a whole. 5SOS wouldnt be as talked about now or where they are without 1 direction. The video shows how ficcle the industry is and how it seems to exploit any band at any chance. I think the video is less of taking the piss but more of the band thinking we dont get it. We had to work and struggle and these kids are getting all the girls etc. We wish we could have had that.
