What I genuinely love about this channel is that he seems actually happy. Whether it's a game he likes or doesn't like, I just love the positive nature and how you never finish a video in a worse mood then what you started. This has been a really good year for rpgs.

Hades is one of the few rogue-likes I was able to finish.. I usually get quickly bored with this genre but the smooth gameplay, the great voice acting(love Megera a Nyx voices), the athmosphere/style and the replayability(I did 17 runs to finish the game and each time was different)kept me interested the entire game.

Hades is unreal good. I play rogue-likes like a fiend, and this one had so much to love about it. For own, characters with dialogue you actually wanted to listen to was awesome to see. 10/10 in my books.

@@lankylemon8555 it's hard to say since everyone's preferences are different, but I'd just add them all to your wishlist and get whatever goes on sale first. Personally, I'd recommend doing Ys VIII before IX. I really enjoy the combat in Ys since you can counter or dodge almost instantaneously. Nier plays fairly similar to that with a bit more delay between attacks and dodging, and Scarlet Nexus has the most delay so you have to be careful when to attack. The combat and story are good in all of them so you can't really go wrong in my opinion. Hope this is helpful!

I just want to say I have come to enjoy watching your Sunday uploads with my morning coffee. I'm a fellow gamer, in my 40s as well, who grew up with all those classics that you proudly display behind you. I just love to sit, relax and listen to your gush over new and old games. Its revitalized me to play retro games as well as new. Playing Persona 5 Strikers now myself and looking to try old SNES classic JRPGs I played years before on my new Super NT.

I love how frequently you use the Octopath Traveller music in your videos! I still need to finish it sometime but I've enjoyed both the playthroughs I've tried to start. Just too many games to play I also love that you got a strategy guide. I feel like I was one of the last generations of gamer kids that strategy guides were extremely helpful. I never had a way to look anything up on the internet so strategy guides were the go to

Love that blue rogues shirt! If you paint the whole sheet of plastic, you’ll have the marks where you cut it away from the spru still. Get some wood skewers and alligator clamps and stick those into styrofoam for your pieces to dry. I’d love to see these after you paint them

I started Hades two or three weeks ago and I have been playing for hours everyday. It's amazing! I'm enjoying the story. It gives me a good, but not impossible challenge. Every time I play, it's a little different and I progress through the story a little bit and learn more about the characters and world. It also has lots of stuff for people to collect/achieve. There are so many more things that I need to do. I still haven't unlocked most of the weapon upgrades.

It's been a slow month for me with video games but I recently finished neo: the world ends with you and it was one of the coolest JRPGs I've played in a really long time. Now I'm playing through baldo: the guardian owls and I gotta say it's fantastic if you love Zelda and studio Ghibli. I highly recommend both of these games.

I've heard Hades is incredible, but I kinda burnt myself out on Rogue-likes a few years ago and I haven't really had the drive to go back to them yet. If I ever do though, Hades would probably be the game I'd go for. And man, that R-Type model will look so cool once it's painted.

the dreamcast was the first system i think i actually got for myself. it was the first time i had a system that I actually enjoyed, not because it was the system i was given, but because it was the system I saved up for and acquired on my own. so much nostalgia around the months leading up to and following that 9/9/99 release date... good times! I always appreciate your enthusiasm for gaming, but especially your enthusiasm for the dreamcast (and PSO!).

The actual reason they don't include manuals anymore is because they save 25 cents per copy sold. I just ordered Control for PS4, just a minute before watching this video. Previously, I purchased Quake for PS4, because although I already have it on PC, the updated version doesn't run (it's a problem with my Windows installation; the game is not demanding, but Bethesda launcher won't run in my PC). I've been playing Quake a lot for a week, it's such an amazing game!

I’m not the biggest rogue-like fan (I generally don’t like hard games) but I LOVE HADES. It’s such a great game. Just everything about it-the look, the sound, the story, the gameplay. I have a hard time putting it down once I get started. I found the first boss to be a bit of a wall for me but once I beat her the floodgates opened. I play it on Gamepass cuz it’s so gorgeous on the Xbox, but I own it on the Switch too.

With how the Xenoblade games play, I think having an instruction manual that explains its mechanics is a perfect idea that I wish Nintendo implemented towards it more. Especially Xenoblade 2 which didn’t let you see previous tutorials (at least in my experience)

Great video as always, and games. A game that just came out on PS5 on Friday you should check out is the indie classic survival horror style game Tormented Souls. It's very RE1 Remake influenced, and think you'd appreciate it, growing up with the early RE games. Def recommend it.

You should really try one of the newer Bandai Real Grade 1:144 scale model kits. The Nu and Sazabi are insanely detailed and look awesome just straight out of the box build, no paint or glue needed, it makes you think about how far injection molding tech has come. Or if you're not super into Gundam then there's also the new RG EVA kits, the classic Unit 01 is a must!

Last Christmas I decided to take a break from buying every special edition. I used to love getting something extra with my game but I just feel they are taking it too far. I miss the days of just buying the game. Now I feel like I’m missing out on something if I don’t get the special edition which I do not like.

Hades is wonderful! I have close to 200 hours in it, beat the story, got all the achievements etc, and while there is nothing more meaningful to unlock, I still o in and do some runs each week because it is just that fun of a game. I really hope you will enjoy it, and at least play to the credits, it is well worth putting time into. Also I only recently found your channel, but I am loving your content. =)
