I was so happy to meet you, Janey, Jack and Matthew!! You all were so nice!! And I LOVED those Little Rockstar butterfly bushes, but like you wondered how large they get. And the Terra Nova coreopsis and echinacea were gorgeous (supposedly a local nursery carries Terra Nova- so I have to go check!!) There were sooooo many flowers I wanted!!!

Bailey’s is in my backyard I was able to buy and plant two Eclipse hydrangeas this year. The dark foliage is stunning in the landscape stays on the small side easy to tuck into a skinny border.

I grew the Eclipse hydrangea this year in a pot. True black foliage in shade to semi shade. The foliage never changed and the blooms were fantastic. Zone8a in South Carolina

Yes- it's open to the public! I went on Sunday and met Robbie, Janey, Matthew and Jack!!! I was fangirling so hard (hopefully I didn't act too awkward! lol). It is more geared toward those who are in the business, but I still loved seeing all the new varieties coming out and of course, meeting all of them.

I love watching Matthew. His last home garden was amazing. Robby did you work the Monrovia booth? You make me laugh about the heat. I live close to Charlotte NC. Everytime you complain about the heat I want to invite you to my area. We are at 98 degrees with high humidity. I moved from the Southwest to the South. I had a hard time getting adjusted. Love your channel.

Ok finally have a question-can you recommend a fertilizer for hydrangeas? I have them on my covered front porch but gets morning sun and they’re healthy-but I know they should get a boost and I’d like to see some flowers now that we aren’t 118 degrees (yes, I live west of you and get that weather too! Lakeport, CA). That trip looks like SO much fun!
