Can you please do a video of the quick wash option and add downy fabric softener? I want to see if this affects the rinse cycle differently on the quick wash option because we return this model after my mom was unsatisfied with the rinse she heard that the washer was performing the rinse while just spinning around and spraying water at the clothes then it somehow just was draining simultaneously and then just stopped and was finished. If you could do that favor for us we could conclude if this is what the quick wash setting does or if we had a faulty washer. Please we would greatly appreciate the help or even just a comment of what you saw after doing a wash load that way? Thank you for this video by the way its great that you showed all the options we are most interested in seeing.

How do we add a fabric softener as well as an extra rinse. We don’t need it to get rid of the softener or detergent, just to get rid of the lingering smell on my sheets and whites (undershirts and underwear). I’d like to have the softener smell stay on our clothes. How do I use the softener and a 2nd rinse? I need to choose between deep rinse or extra rinse. Help!

To get the deep fill, did you just push the button once or did you push it twice and hold it? It looked like you reached back there again afterwards I have this model and literally it gets about a foot of water in it no matter what I do to know, how to get the deepest fill

How is this considered deep fill/max when the washer only fills up half a tub? This is just to placate the customer into thinking that they have some kind of control over the water level? Why is there a max fill on the water level dial plus a deep fill button?

I have this exact model of washer. The max dial still uses the computer to determine the load size and fill accordingly, it just adds a lot more water compared to auto. Pressing deep fill adds 3 gallons extra on top of that. Pressing and holding deep fill until the washer chimes 3 times is what gives you the full 26 gallons of water that the washer can hold. Why GE did it like that I have no clue but it is possible to get a full tub of water, you just have to know the right button presses to do it.

@@xapo9707 and the guy didnt hold and wait for the chime either so he skrewed the Pooch on the video , he only pressed it one time and not the extra press to add 3 gallons at a time nor did he hold the button til for the chimes of MAX capacity fill

We just got ours a few minutes ago. When we lift the lid and it's washing the washing stops. What did you do to keep it running with the lid lifted? Also when I press and hold the deep fill button for 3-4 seconds nothing happens. No light comes on showing it will fill max.

I had the same problem on the normal cycle the deep fill button lights up on towels and quick wash, but it doesn’t fill

@@corrinneandrea It's a learning process on these new appliances. What I finally did was find a control panel for the washing machine. I called GE and talked to two ladies that were helpful. The told me the different washing cycles that the deep fill would work with. I put them next to the wash cycles showing the cycles the would and would not work with. I also ask them about other things on the display. With this information I added it to the washer display I had downloaded. I then took one of the copies to Lowe's, where I purchased the washing machine. The lady was really happy of the work I did on this. Now I know that if you change any of the setting while it is filling with water you have to press the || pause button, make the change and press > resume to continue. This washing machine isn't anything like the old Sears Whirlpool where you could just select the water level, turn the know to the type of cloths you are washing and press the "GO" button. I like the idea of the deep fill. This washing machine is much bigger than the old one was. I did use the extra spin several times and it really got the cloths dry.

That stopping is a step down agitation. For Reducing wear on the fabrics. Pulsed agitation. A on going program with the Brand. It varies on the time and models and year. The agitation in pulsed wash was with there Direct Drives and my favorite Hydro wave models. The later being the quitest. The pulsed one here will also be the stroke on Delicate. Here. 🌀

We purchased one from Lowe's yesterday. It supposed to be delivered tomorrow, Saturday. Our old 14 year old Whirlpool was simple and filled the tub all the way up. That's how you get cloths clean. We have too much government intervention in our society.

I had a Maytag for years but it finally kicked the bucket and we had to resort to buying a new washing machine unfortunately they do not have machine without a bunch of things trying to think for you on the machine which do not know what you are thinking at all we live on a farm and we have a lot of really dirty things to wash which my new GE just does not get clean very disappointed with our new machine it will not fill up enough to cover the clothes and agitate them enough to get them clean guess we will have to resort to the old ways of beating them on a rock from now on

The noise factor doesn't bother me at all. I love thedual action agitator...back and forth action. And, adjustable water levels to wash clean. A+ in my book!😊

Perhaps your washer is faulty, the washer should have a 1 year warranty from the manufacture so call GE and let them know so they can send out a technician to see the situation/problem. Also the water hoses could be the reason as to why you are not getting a normal amount of water to your washer. this happened to us on a old washer were the water was so minimal that we could only wash like two three shirts with the insanely amount of water the washer threw in.. and adding your own water was not a solution just a big pain in the butt....When we replaced the washer for a new GE washer with new hoses the washer threw in the proper amount of water and lots of it the difference was night and day. Good luck and hopefully they can help you solve the issue your having.
