not sure if someone already mentioned it but I think the name for Mudspatz is perfect and cute. In Germany you call someone a "dreckspatz" (mostly little kids) if they got dirty. literally translated it would be a mud/dirty sparrow.

Flagaric's Flying type is a tounge in cheek decision. You can interpret the fly in fly agaric to either the fly animal or the verb to fly which would turn the pokemon into a flying agaric. It works exactly the same with the german name Fliegenpilz.

I think the red and blue on Sherruff's feet and ears is meant to represent the lights on a police car, because German Shepherds are famously used as police dogs, it also explains the name because Sherruff sounds like sheriff

What a coincidence. I was having a conversation with my friend on Discord about a Germany based region. Granted, the only things we've thought of are Starters, the regional Legendary Trio, the Box Legendaries, and the DLC Legendaries. Unfortunately, we're busy with other stuff so I doubt we'll actually ever put this ideas as art.

Some of these I really love and others I’m confused about. I think almost all of them are very well designed but a lot of them just have no business being in a Germany based region. Like why have a Samurai Evee, koala or platypus in Germany? That just doesn’t work in my opinion. If you are gonna choose a region you gotta commit to it. I think there was also a bit of a missed opportunity to include all of the fairytales and folklore that Germany has. Also can we please let the Lederhosen die because out of 16 states the only one who (occasionally) wears them is Bavaria and anyone living in Germany can tell you that Bavarian is the least representative of Germany in its entirety as it gets.

my Atoni Fakemon Team so far! 1. Turbimax (A Dragon Type for the last type of the Grass Starter is insane, and i Love It! 2. Perfurella (A Very Very Cute Bug. as a bug type fan, i approve her) 3. Frostower (A Rock turning to a tower is surprising, but i love it!) 4. Atonian Scrafty (Insane Regional Form with a Insane Design. I may not be a fan of the Scrafty line, But This is amazing) 5. Guarditell (I may not like the pre evolutions to Guarditell, but i can't resist Dylan from the magic roundabout Vibes when looking at Guarditell. Nice) 6. Darukoid (Looks like Rotom after 1000 years of retirement. i love it!) and for who i want to pick for the Constellation Forms, it'll be Perfurella. (Why do i love this cute bug very much AAAH!) overall hope to see what's next for the Atoni Region!

Going with either the grass or water starter. There are 2 fire mons i want to use for each team. Let's start with the Grass starter Snalad Turbimax (Grass/Dragon): I know it would be 4x weak to ice but thanks to the Dragon typing it would take normal damage from fire. Elektipus (Water/Electric): Triwillow (Fire/Fairy): We NEED a Fire/Fairy Mon Beerenshi (Ground/Ghost): Aggraris (Rock/Fighting): Alibrum (Psychic/Steel): Now the Water Starter Wizino Merlynn (Water/Psychic): A Water/Psychic starter would be nice Darukoid (Fire/Electric): Only Fire/Electric Mon we have is Rotom Heat Binorillo (Ground/Fairy): Another typing we really need Kukooster (Ghost/Steel): Aggraris (Poison/Fighting):Maybe it'll have a Bug, Dark, or Ghost move to cover the 4x Psychic weakness. Dracaric (Dark/Flying)

The pokemon look cool I feel like there’s a bit too many bipedal pokemon that in some cases didn’t feel necessary for the line to go in that direction like the squirrel. I enjoy the line but feel like it doesn’t make sense it’s becomes a thicker squirrel then evolves into a taller bipedal squirrel

Since I haven't seen the whole dex yet, I can't really say what team of 6 I'd use yet. But as Psychic types are my favorite, the 4 who'd definitely be on my team thus far would be, 1 - Merlynn 2 - Salalelu 3 - Peacosmos 4 - Bonshecho Also, since Chimecho was one of my favorite Psychic types, it's evolution Bonshecho is definitely my favorite pokemon of this region thus far.

I was in the process of making up some German pokemon too at one point Had this idea for one with a stein for a head and a keg for a body because when i was a kid i used to play with my Oma's steins like puppets and a bird with a long neck like an ostrich or something and an axe shaped beak making it a hal-bird lol and a regional variant of rapidash that gains a ghost type with black fur and dark purple flames but also loses its head as a reference to the headless horseman

Sherruff is obviously based on not only German Sheppard dogs but also the fact that German Sheppards are commonly used as Police Dogs in North America which is where the red and blue coloration on its paws and ears comes from.

The artworks were really unique and beautiful, i see all the love in his/her creations ❤️ but as a German I'm not happy with all that, we have so much wild life, aqua fauna and obviously folklore too. Citys, Forest, Villages, handicrafts such as the Hessian Bembel It is given cider. So I hope next time when you're in Germany you don't go to Bavaria, come to beautiful Hessen we have APFELWEIN 😂 Have a great day :)

Another point would be that Bavaria is part of Germany but so destinctivly different than the rest, it would be to claim Hawaii or Alaska represents all of America.

I, personally, would welcome a Pokemon game in a region that hasn't had human cities and towns and whatnot in it before, a region that at least starts out completely open for a gamer to explore. Colonization, Pokemon League installment, and other things can come later. But, I'd like a Pokemon region to pioneer through. Whatever the next region they come out with, if it's going to be as open as the Paldea region was supposed to be, they should set up the gyms, and whatever else they might include, so that it doesn't matter which one they start with. All can start at a base level, whatever they choose, and the levels of the pokemon in the remaining gyms can go up the number of levels they choose as gyms are beaten and the gamer accumulates badges in that region, so that it doesn't feel so linear, and growth is encouraged.

Mudspatz means dreckspatz. Its translateable with litter bug or mucky pup. And its a pun bc spatz Flagaric too. ITs flying Type BC the mushroom is called Fliegenpilz. So flying mushroom. So the Type isnt BC of the Design but of the pun with the Thing IT based on. A mushroom called Fliegenpilz has to be flying tyle
