The video glossed over or missed a couple references to Greek mythology. I am not sure if this was done on purpose to keep the video shorter, but either way, I'm going to go through and reference the things I noticed. 1:02 I'm pretty sure Pandiadyr is supposed to be wearing the golden fleece on its back. 2:08 Delphidon is based on the Greek god of dolphins named Delphin, not Poseidon. Delphin is famous for being Poseidon's wingman when he goes after his wife, Amphitrite. As a thank you for helping him hook up, Posidon put a constellation of Delphin in the sky. That is probably why the creator of the fakemon called it "the adorned Pokemon.". 3:12 Astregal is based on the "Aetos Dios," commonly known as Zeus' eagle. The eagle was once a king named Periphas, who made Zeus angry for being too well-liked by his people. Obviously, Zeus smited the dude with thunder, but Apollo felt bad and rescued him by turning him into an eagle who would serve as Zeus' personal messenger from that point on. 5:11 Bacchelder is based on Dionysos, yes (more specifically, Bacchus, but same shit), but Dionysos isn't the god of agriculture. The reason Dionysos is often seen with grapes or wine in his hands is that he is the god of grapes and wine. He is also the god of parties, madness, and the wilderness. 6:20 Venuchique is based on Venus, more commonly known as Aphrodite. Brasteerion is based on the Bronze Bull. A legendary torture divice in which the victim would be placed inside the bronze statue of a bull and then cooked alive. Hence Brasteerion's flames. A weird inspiration for a starter pokemon.

Definitely picking the Fire starter (Tintoro): Yes I know its final form Brasteerion is 4x weak to Ground thanks to the Fire/Steel typing but its an awesome typing, double resists 5 types (Grass, Steel, Bug, Ice, and Fairy) Plus we haven't had a Fire/Steel starter Colocetus: Water/Dragon, another good typing Astregal: I know we already have an Electric/Flying regional bird (Kilowattrel line) Miasmane Line: Dark/Poison (Only 1 Weakness) Adobabe: Ground/Fairy We Don't have a Ground/Fairy Mon yet Gemizys: Normal/Ghost (A type with only 1 weakness and 3 immunities, one of those immunities being the Ghost type)
