That concept explainer was so chaotic but also got the job done which is a great way to get people ready for Dreamcatcher. The member info screens are creative and not just a filler transition. I think a lot of people might miss the video game stats as new Somnia then have an aha! moment later. Siyeon's rapping needed more attention. Handong's part was great at showing the personality I'm convinced was always there but didn't come out as much in the days when she had more trouble understanding and expressing herself in Korean. Good luck in the reaction world!

It's just a bit jarring to label her as a sub vocalist when she typically gets top 3 in line distributions and is the bridge queen. Anyway, great job on the video but I think that's the only thing that seems off to me.

I am an Atiny who just looking at several of their songs cause both fans and non-fans were saying online that fans of both Ateez and Dreamcatchers might like the other group if they already like one of them since they share 2 of their producers (and cause why not out of curiosity). Great editing! This must have taken forever! My first comeback was Fly High, I believe, although it's been a whileeee so I could be wrong. Dreamcatcher was my first stan group, and I'm happy to say that even though I'm not super involved in the k-pop franchise much anymore, I still stan our gorgeous dark angels! Dreamcatcher really does have that special something that keeps you hooked. They never get old!

Good job! Actually Happy Face Entertainment didn’t change their name, they formed new sub-company called Dreamcatcher Company to manage Dreamcatcher business. I’d guess due to DC started to gain some success and as they had other groups as well, they didn’t want Happy Face Entertainment to be known as ”The Dreamcatcher company”. Just my guess.

I've heard Dreamcatcher sing there are no sub vocalists. For years I've only heard of Siyeon Main, JiU and Yoohyeon as Lead and all the others as Vocalist even Dami (and I' never heard of namuwiki before but now I dislike them). My gut reaction felt like you were lowering them from where they've always been as all good vocalists. If there is any sticking point to Insomnia picking up this guide or recommending it to new fans I think it would be that part, the rest of it is great.

@@Driim113 I'm not sure that namuwiki considered "official source" for positions. It's looks like another wikipedia-like website that can be edited by regular users. I don't see any links to positions sources on namuwiki DC page. Last source with "official" positions was Dreamcatcher's Japanese website but it's probably already deleted(maybe namuwiki have same roles that were on JP website but I can't check). Unfortunately Korean DC website is under development right now so it's doesn't have roles yet, but I hope they will add them soon. Generally speaking, most of the secondary roles are fan guesses based on their lines in songs and MV's. Personally I don't see any huge issues with roles in this guide.

Just a little correction or question, I guess. I'm pretty sure Happy Face entertainment did not change their name because other groups that are under them are still HFE. Instead, as far as I understand, the allocated management group that are in charge of DC was somewhat separated into DCC to focus solely on them, more of a branch of HFE. Please correct me if I got it wrong

I think the gender pronoun thing is largely an invention of foreign fans because Koreans do not use gender pronouns in speech. They're only used in written works such as novels if they're needed to prevent ambiguity. What is important to Koreans is family and status. People related to each other use a relationship indicator, like brother, sister, uncle, aunt etc and for strangers the person's title is used, although relationship indicators may also be used in a respectful way. If the person doesn't have a title then their full name is used with an honorific which isn't gender specific, but which always gets translated as Mr. or Miss. Most of the confusion comes from the way Korean is translated into English for subtitles, because the translators put in gender pronouns and make other changes to make it simpler for non-Korean speakers to understand. When Dreamcatcher cover English language songs they're just performing the songs as written. I don't think it would occur to them to change anything in the lyrics of a covered song. That would be disrespectful to the lyricist, and if you only learn one thing about Korean culture it's that respect trumps everything.
