Hey there! In my opinion the best advice is to run, and never get into this line of work. UE, DD and other such companies have changed for the worse big time. With their new tiered programs drivers literally become employees, but without any benefits of an actual employee. Corporations on the other hand are getting obedient workers who drive and maintain their own vehicles, pay for gas, pay their own taxes. These corporations don't have any obligations to provide any employment benefits. They used to pitch to part time drivers. But with their high AR doctrines I just don't see how a part time driver could ever see any decent offers.

I've tried the "flat rate" on UE, and got 1, maybe 2 calls per 3hr shift. The algorithm changes. Convince me otherwise.

The Uber money is so pathetic now it just isn't worth it in my area. There are very low quests and when I pull up rider Uber there are so many drivers in my area I would imagine the volume would be poor. They have also raise the driver wait time from 5 minutes to 7. Hell no.
