Western beauty makeup only has discovered this kind of formula huh? I keep noticing they have this current trend of releasing oil tints, pillow/airy/velvet matte formulas for lip makeup at questionable price points when it already exists in the asian market at a much affordable prices. The only thing I'm grateful for is the inclusivity western brand brings I guess

Being southeast Asian makes a lot of kbeauty lip products super affordable to me but the shade range is just unforgiving for any girls that are slightly tanned. It took peripera to influence kbeauty that there is a better market if they diversified their shades (but I still fault them for their inaccurate photos, shades just look different in person)

​@@margaesperanza as a fellow brown southeast asian i wish i can like this millionth times because it's so true. for example when peripera ink velvet just came out when i was in highschool (like 2016-2017) it only has shades that cater to south korean and east asians, or basically people with lighter skintone. those shades are natural on them but if i applied them on me, they would look so neon on my skintone. only a year later when i almost graduated from highschool they started to add more deeper brown reddish colors that suited for my skin and they're actually good.

Some people don't like lippies that stain because it can be annoying if you want to put on another lip colour but yeah, it'll probs end up a bit patchy.

I think for this specific formula it’s ok - I’ve tried it out in the store and it’s very soft and doesn’t dry down, meaning that you can touch up really easily.
