New Go Kart Build Update

Unique go kart im working on. its almost done, but still needs \some modifications to get it where i want it.

You can still use a full-width axle, just dont have both rear wheel hubs with a Key onto the axle, one side has a bearing like a front wheel would, less bearing hangars on the frame that way, lighter and stronger overall, with still one wheel drive like you want

you dont need gear reduction on the steering to dampen it, just put a longer lobe off the steering shaft, the farther out your tie rods connect, the less sensitive it will be

Dude, That;s awesome!! How long did it take to weld the frame? Look like a lot of small pieces to weld.. Also how much did it cost to make the whole thing? Makes me want to build one now lol

love your design especially with your front a arm but are your steering shaft capable in handling the the maneuvers of your front suspension? i have a homemade go cart im thing of building it higher then you for trail ride style but the independent front suspension gets tricky when it comes to hight+stability and suspension travel dipending on how much travel you want it becomes difficult.
