As a casual player who doesn't buy the Gold Pass, I never check the tasks. I just do my 2 or 3 attacks every day and I reach the end of rewards about one week before the month ends.

That way there is at least some chance it could still help you, especially for pancakes and mighty morsel which last for 3 battles but has no time limit.

the upgrade time really improved. last time when I quit during May 2023, it takes 27 days to upgrade one of the buildings and that just made me loose interest in playing, having 15 days left for my earliest upgrade to finish and 6 builders currently working, I just stopped playing and took me more than a year to come back, was very happy to see the improvement on upgrade time

If they monetise chest - it will basically turn clash into a gambling spin the wheel type of game. Which i think is morally wrong. People have lost their livelihoods with those types of games. Eg. CS:GO weapon cases.

Honestly I would appreciate the additional tasks in the gold pass just to get to the 20% builder boost faster. That’s really the only reason I buy the pass because it cuts so much time off the upgrades. It sucks that even if you’re an active player you get blocked from progressing through the gold pass by not having any more challenges to do.

Honestly a daily bonus system would be better imo. Having the apprentice builder always ready on a certain time of the day regardless whether it was activated as soon as it’s available or just 2 hours before it was refreshed would be better. Kinda like a daily login so that you don’t get pressured to trying to get the most value

Personally I don't care about cosmetics, skins, sceneries etc. I enjoy playing to progress as fast and efficient as possible. So I hope they will give us the option in the gold pass to choose between a cosmetic and like a book.

10:45 my archer tower at th 15 being 3 days is crazy good. Being an OG player and 1 th away from max that is insane. I find that the resource increase as well makes it pair perfectly with it making progression so much better

Judo, you touched on a great point there. I am in South Africa, and due to the dollar / rand exchange rate, it becomes too expensive. I literally buy the Gold Pass every month (and support JUDO) but I don't buy anything more as it would mean spending a couple hundred bucks on the game. Just to put it into perspective, Gold Pass and the Legendary scenery is a thousand rand. It's too much. 17:01

I feel Clash is doing a good idea with the Gold pass of having 3 groups of types of Gold pass to see what players like more. I opened my account and saw I got the 2,000 point group. Though when I opened my second account on my tablet I got the control group. So this actually going to be a helpful tool for me to truly see just from 2 groups which one I prefer more. I'm fascinated to see.

If the already supercharged buildings can reduced the build times when it gets upgrade, i am all for it. Win Win situation, if it doesn't, not gonna get upset over it but at least i know all my supercharged buildings had 'maybe' stopped some 3 stars on my base.

I like Judo's videos because he talks to us like a fellow player. Not like a creator, not an advertiser, not like a pro..... Sometimes when other content creators talk to us it feels like they are speaking from their background knowledge- Although Judo likely has that info, he still talks like he's my friend analyzing the game. Monster Hunter has a similar issue in the end game. I know that its a triple A title and not a mobile game (duhh) but you augment your gear at the end in order to better fit your playstyle and bridge some gaps in your gear scores/skills. I think supercharging multiple levels is a good start.

As someone who's working and busy with other things, I hate the new loot changes. It makes it impossible for me to slowly upgrade my base anymore. I only have time for 2-3 attacks a day, and 2 often will go towards clan wars. Yet, I am losing ~2.5-3.5 mil a day from being raided as a town hall 16, even when my storages are half full and my collectors empty. So at this rate, unless I opt out of clan wars, I am constantly losing loot and not able to make any upgrades. I seriously think they need to increase the war bonus loot, or the loot cart to mediate this. I understand rewarding very active players, but I feel punished as someone who plays daily but is too busy to do more than 2 attacks a day.

One thing to take into account when viewing prices of cosmetics is that this is art made by a team. They dont just generate these things, they take time and thought to put these together. So, not only are you paying for a cool skin, you're also paying for something that someone probably spent hours and hours putting together.

I'm curious the sales on the scenery. I play with sound off. I didn't even realize they made original music for it. It all seems so silly. The game is at a tipping point and they realized it years ago but they haven't taken it into a fun direction. They've taken it into a monotonous path that feels stale. i love it and play it because my 78 year old father plays the game and i get to enjoy something with him. but in terms of the game play... they need massive out of the box thinking and they haven't gone that direction.

The training treat it useless because it doesn’t affect hero’s. You do two attacks (typically hero’s get knocked to nil health both times), using all their health up, then the treat expires as you wait for them to recharge as attacking without your hero’s means loosing

I usually don't pay attention to the gold pass challenges unless I need something down the track, in which case it can be frustrating to not have enough challenges released to make it to a book of heroes or book of building or whatever. I prefer to have the challenges available so if I need to get a certain distance in, I have that option to grind out the specific challenges and get my hero back for CWL or something.

Agree on the skins in gold pass. I only used to buy it if I thought the skin was worth, as I went on I then saw the value regardless, so it’s an in for lots of players. I do pay to play but only if I feel the perk is worth it, like the events or lower end deals that include a book of hero’s. Loved the DnD event as I play that and wanted the dice item

Imagine if legendary sceneries allowed you to place an avatar of your heroes (not the actual heroes) around the map and in certain spots they do different things and with emotes possibly coming you can select certain emotes for those locations..i dunno just a cool thought. The part of the gold pass i try to get to asap is the 20% time reductions tbh. After that, the rest of the track becomes a leisurely stroll that i complete at whatever pace I naturally end up doing tasks just over the course of attacking and donating and such. 😊

I've said in a Twitter post that having fewer points to complete the gold pass quicker would be a bad change since if you complete the pass sooner, in a way, you have less of an incentive to play if there's less rewards to get at the end of the month. Having more tasks to complete would be better but by doing that, it would make sense to increase either the number of rewards to make the track longer or decrease the value earned from tasks.. Having more rewards would be better!!

I'm glad that you brought up the cosmetic monetization. Hopefully making heroes available while upgrading is more of a possibility. I think that's the only way we'll ever see that. If they can make enough money from other avenues. I also think the third option for the gold pass is clearly the best option. The sooner you can reach the 20%, the better. I still think the 20% should be what you get. If you're a repeat gold pass purchaser. You get your season bank and then drop down to 10% whereas a few hours ago you were just at 20%.

my only problem with chests is that, unlike star drops on BS, they can't "jump" upgrades (ex: a rare can't become epic in one tap) meaning that if it doesn't become rare on the first one you automatically know that it won't be a legendary. This way you istantly lose hype in combo with the fact that they are SO rare to find (which i don't think is a bad idea). btw love your videos ❤

8:16 I think they should add an option to max out your equipments for friendly challenges. That would be the most easy and effective way to test out equipments. But seeing as how using mighty morsel in friendly challenges(even in other attacks) can crash the replay they would have to do many fixes for it to work

The dice decoration is absolutely loved. The super scenary is a nice concept but I personnaly don’t like the art on that one. What I would like is if they allowed us to get capital benefits by having decoration. Perhaps decorations could be showcased in the capital and bring tourism sims. Tourists would give collective ressources to the clan.

I think the biggest issue is the decorations, not enough shovels and i got most of my shovels before they were changed to being able to move freely afterwards and then objects spawning in the worst possible spots making it impossible to change base layout. As i like collecting the event decorations this is a huge problem, personally i think they should scrap the shovels and let us move decorations freely.

i'm a casual, and sometimes gold pass purchaser. though there are pros to getting it, its still in my eyes too expensive; and i'd still prefer the old price with the improvements that they made. although i know that won't happen, and they need their money. i am happy you mentioned one of the many reasons people don't play coc anymore, it was one of the many reasons for a time that i stopped; and only friends that were playing abroud that got me back into the game.

My only problem with supercharges is that the wall grind becomes even more difficult than it already is. I rather have all defensives maxed out as it gives me a better chance in defending in war and walls being one level under leveled doesn't make that much a difference compared to the supercharges stat boosts. I wish there was an upside later like a discount or a reduction in time for the next upgrade on whatever got the supercharge when the next update comes around.

For chest it doesn't matter if they directly monetize them it's indirectly monetized since every you get in them stuff you can buy. Making you want buy stuff more when you get unlucky to many times in a row

i agree about there should be a regional pricing, because to be fair, the legendary scenary in my country is about Rp 550.000 including taxes, but the average monthly salary in here is about Rp 3.000.000 - Rp 3.500.000, which means the scenery itself costs almost 20% of our monthly salary, so by doing regional pricing, I'm pretty sure more people would buy the scenery or even the gold pass, even though the gold pass itself is already cheap.

I just reached max th16, but my walls were rushed. During the goblin event I managed to get them from level 14 to level 16. I am also not touching supercharge, because I have to focus on my walls. If I supercharge, I'll still be behind on walls when the new town hall comes out
