I carry the Glock 43X, Wilson combat SFX9 comp 3.25” (which makes it into a 3.75”) just fine. The guns have to be thin. Thickness of the gun and grip length make much more of a difference than slide length. I can conceal carry a Glock 19 just fine but isn’t as comfortable as a thinner gun

Hello, do you know if there’s any adapter that attaches to the base plate of the magazine? I want a Glock 26 with a stock 15-round magazine, but I’m not sure if switching magazines will cause an issue with the adapter sliding. I’m not sure if I’m explaining myself clearly, but I think it would be better to have one that attaches to the base plate. Thanks for your content!

I have a huge problem with the rubber X-grips that slide around all the time and create problems when seating the mags , even with “manly force” yes. The plastic ones seem to seat better, are these grip sleeves prone to slipping and causing mags to not go in properly? With my rubber x grips I have to put like 4 rounds of painters tape around the bottom of the mag to keep it from sliding around

It’s the HandleItGrips “Black Edge” series. It’s on Amazon but be careful, they shipped correctly for my 43x and S&W Equalizer BUT sent wrong product for my 19 gen 3 twice. Might save you a headache if you order directly from manufacturer.

The.40 cal Glock 27 is just not as reliable with an extended magazine as a Glock 26. I’m not completely sure why, but I’ve seen the G27 have feeding issues with an extended magazine. It’s definitely the way the shooter grips the pistol, putting pressure on the extended magazine. The sleeves may help with this issue, my experience is with just the longer magazine in the sub compact without a sleeve. YMMV.

I think he means just a bare long magazine. Early on in Glock history there were reports that gripping the magazine shaft below the handle might change the feed angle slightly and there were reports of failures to feed. With the x grip or Pearce I have never heard of a problem.

@@oklahomahank2378Yes, that’s exactly what I mean, just the full sized G22 mags. If the shooter grips the mag real tight it can tip the magazine forward so the round hits the feed ramp and a lower angle. I think the grip spacer would stop that for happening.
