As a hair dresser of too many years. You will need to continue to apply every few months, as it will fade and look dull. Depending on how often you shampoo your hair. Your virgin hair will begin to grows out. Reapplying will avoid that awful demarcation line. Use the same Demi color or darker, depending on your virgin hair!

GOD LOVES ALL when I colour my hair professionally I find the hair colour fades super fast too The Demi permanent prevents the line of demarcation and that’s why I prefer it over permanent now

yeah if you're really cautious, you can make one tube cover the entire head (like you did) but I usually recommend getting two bottles/tubes if your hair is past your shoulders.

Girl, the brown suites you SO well. It looks so much better and more vibrant with your skintone. And dying it over the blonde kind of gave the appearance of having some highlights in it as well, instead of it being just one flat color. It turned our great! You are beautiful! :-)

Just did mine today Ion color brilliance demi 5N looks a lot darker than yours but still like it. Mine actually has a Mahogany look to it which I wasn't expecting but think I like. Not sure on that part yet.

My hair looked super similar to your blonde hair as well & wow am I glad I used the color you recommended as compared to the dark brown one I was considering. I've always been scared to do it but realized today while at Sally's that I can do Demi (temporary) which is exactly what she used so it'll wash out in 4-6 weeks (faster if you wash your hair more) so I'm going to do it right now and I'm so nervous!!! I'm 33 and I've never let my hair be it's natural root color (level 5-6) so excited. Big tip is no matter what color is do a test strand and always start at least 2 inches away from the roots because the roots are closest to your head so the heat from your scalp develops the color (and bleach) faster than the rest of your hair and you'll end up with uneven color

Color looks great! I just picked up a bottle of the demi permanent by ION, as well as the ION 10 volume developer. I've never used these before, so I'm looking forward to trying this out. Btw silly question, but it looks like from the manufacturer it states to measure in ounces. I typically am used to doing it by "ratio." Could I do it by ratio instead.?

I had dark brown hair bleached it ended up with orange yellow hair. My steps to toning it down. I used Wella Demi permanent hair color in 10 Calmer the brassiness but so then I went in with the T14 and ash additive waaaa laaaa ! I’m at the color I wanted ash-sandy blond.

It lasted probably 4 weeks but I was in the sun a lottttt during this time so it faded faster. I don't believe it will necessarily fade faster, it will probably just not have as much color payoff from the beginning. If you don't have blonde hair then that will probably be fine.

I would say demi because it lasts a while and then you can decide if you really like it. Also you won't get the yucky line of regrowth. Mine hasn't really faded. If you watch the last video on my channel you can see the color after about 3 weeks of dying it.

the bowl you have has the measurements on the inside. you could pour the developer first then add the tube or tubes.
