Chip will probably have similar situation with DOTA 2 Underlord, the kind of hero you almost never meet in ranked but basically godlike in tournament. Both have teleport skill that really need a good synergy with teammates and their performance is really depend on team coordination. Underlord is my main hero when I play with my friends, the amount of outplay potential this hero have is insane

He is really hard to use since you have to combine Q, W and E to use a skill, each 10 skill have different combinations so you have to memorize it. And DOTA 2 round is quite long, usually 40 min-1 hour

Agree about him being potentially great as jungler. For jungling, he has his 1st skill which is discount Akai's 2nd skill (it has HP-based dmg on the 1st hit, shield, and low CD). As for teamfight, the ult is obvious, it's practically Mino + Luo Yi's ult in 1 spell, which will be great for objectives' contests. Last but definitely not least, his unique 4th skill can be used to do unpredictable jungle rotations

There's also the radius nerf on the creeps on red buff area, which can be beneficial for Chip since he'll most likely be played as invade jungler due to his 4th skill (imagine teleporting to the farther enemy's buff area after taking the 1st turtle, hopefully with your allies on the same page with you)

This is very useful for neutral objectives contest. Sidelaners can just keep pushing lanes and wait until a portal pops up then join contest. Them sidelaners no longer need to be there at turtle/lord area to prepare contest. And also i have this idea of trolling enemies. Chip pop a portal at the base while teammates are at war, surely one or two enemy will accidentally enters the portal and voala they go straight to the base.

Best scenario is: Every his teammates are in the base, he knock up 5 heroes, everyone follow up right away Yeah he's a comeback monster, best to use when you are in lose condition. But also he also could make his teammates recall to replenish their health and invade the enemy's base with his ult The problem using Tigreal, Atlas, Minotaur, Khufra is when your teammate isn't ready with your huge play(low health, too far, etc) and when your gold lane, but this doesn't apply to chip. The other problem is when you are gonna help turtle but your goldlane is too stupid to play safe for straight 2-3 minutes, but this also doesn't apply since HE COULDL TELEPORT BACK AFTER HELPING JUNGLER AND TELEPORT BACK TO GOLDLANE. Maybe the problem isn't at his ult but at his bonus skill (skill 4) Overall a good hero, op but really need map awareness. You can't just teleport without a second thought or else you would end up to an endless spectator mode

Opinions 1. He has the weaker version of Franco's Passive. 2. The beacon teleport is useful for him, unfortunately if the beacons aren't switching, he may end up predictable in his rotation. But that's only to a degree. 3. The 2nd skill is good for escaping, but the enhanced basic attack is only good for ganking since the knockback is for single enemy. 4. The portal having knockback is great considering it brings great ambush opportunity if someone is stunned 6. The 1st skill AoE stun is great, but needs to be timed right. It can be combo'd with the Enhanced basic attack from 2nd skill, but again proper timing. Chip offers mainly ambush, fast rotation and ganks.

Moonton finally create a non-human hero again, and boy did they deliver. His design is a breath of fresh air from all the sexy humans we got recently. A lazy fox that is a born genius, creating new inventions without even trying, and he is just chilling on his portable pod that can make him teleport all across the map, calling his friends if he face a strong opponent, making them do all the work. His passive is just a chef kiss to his already incredible design, teleporting a bag of potato chips whenever he's hungry, probably straight from the factory. And for his other skills, it's quite generic for a tank hero, S2 like Hylos's S1, and S1 like Franco's S2 with bonus enhance BA. But his Ult is honestly broken for moba. now the way I've seen other moba to handle a teleport hero is to either one, limiting the ally that can teleport, or making a delay to teleport to the destination. The second one seems more probable and balance to me. and for hi special skill, I think it's too broken to have the ability to teleport to 4 predestined point in the map, especially since they're located near objective too. So instead maybe they can make it to be Chip dropping a teleport point and then the second phase also dropping another teleport point that connect to the previous point , but still you have to stand on it to teleport.
