One of the best reviews I have ever seen on a tractor . You don’t miss a thing . Being a big John Deere and kubota owner and fan all my life I made the change . When I went looking for new tractor I pulled the trigger on a boomer 41 with industrial tires and 260 loader . The loader reach took some time too get use too but now I’m hooked on it . You hit all the exact points why I bought one also . Leg room / smooth / comfortable / fuel tank location / height / powerful lift / and other stuff you mentioned . I’m pretty sure if potential tractor buyers that are diehard brand lovers like I was actually took the time too try one they will get a real eye opener . 300 hard worked hours on mine and it’ just goes . You can adjust the peddle tension under neath also too make it easier push . I did mine right away . Lost a front wheel bearing at 200 hours once and dealer fixed and checked everything under warranty . Only issue so far . Not a big deal . These things happen . Once again excellent review 👍👍👍

It also Depends if people have a New holland dealer nearby (I don't they are an hour away) And how good they are to deal with and their service (my closets dealer has not been good or helpful) Where as I have a Kubota and a Deere dealer 10 minutes away.. And they are fantastic to deal with.. Its a huge factor in the buying decision

I still like the poultry tractor better. Hey Neil I hope that the rest of the Messik family recognize all the work you do for the KZbin channel and promoting the company. KZbin can be a real pain. You probably have the most fun out of everyone in the family. I could totally see you opening up your own turf/ag dealership. You’re very good at promoting and getting information out. And when you come across something you don’t know you research and you ask. You have all the good qualities for that industry. So what if you don’t turn wrenches and drain fluids all day long. You inform and educate people while moving product. 🙂

I had a John Deere dealer tell me that if they made more full size utility tractors with R4 industrial tires they would sell a heck of a lot more tractors on the spot. The 19.5L-24 and 21L-24 tires on a 5 or 6 series look impressive and appear exceptionally marketable. I was told by John Deere that for every 200 full sized utility tractors manufactured, only 1 comes off the line with HD R4 tires. It appears that R4 industrial tires are the domain of either industrial construction backhoes or compact tractors-not full size agricultural tractors and full size utility tractors 🚜.
@pyroman60004 жыл бұрын
When you were talking about the size vs power of this tractor, it reminded me of my first look at a JD 5055E in person. I was astonished by how small it actually is- like Ford 9N size. I had the same thoughts as you- this would be nice on hills with that lower center of gravity. And pretty useful in smaller areas. I also thought- "that's a great size for mowing fencelines, or working in a barnyard ." One thing To mention- with a loader like this one, you need to be really careful when turning. With how far it sticks out, it's easy to bang into things- that's a lot of loader swinging around! Ask me how I know...

Why do so many tractor manufacturers insist on putting the 4WD engagement lever down on the floor where you sometimes can't reach it without banging your head on the steering wheel? To make matters worse, they then have a warning sticker telling you NOT to use your foot to engage the lever that you can't reach with your arm. This issue exists on blue, orange and green tractors along with others.
@court23794 жыл бұрын
On my TYM it is next to the seat on the left side. Pretty well placed. Odd so many put it in that goofy spot.
@Fraggr923 жыл бұрын
Because the transmission for your tractor sits right underneath the cab, and that's where the mechanism to engage your FWD is often located. Having it be a lever that just extends up from the transmission housing into the cab floor is the simplest and most logical solution from an engineering perspective if you want to engage and disengage your FWD mechanically. Moving the lever is certainly possible, but it's going to involve more engineering and therefore more cost. In that sense it's a lot simpler to move the controls for an electric FWD switch since it's just a matter of carving out space for a button in a panel and running a few wires.

Good looking tractor, I purchased a new bx kubota month ago and wished I purchased the bx23s because we purchased a good size property in wv so i sent a email to one of your dealership before contacting mine, and a salesman emailed me back next day and you could tell he wasn't interested and told him in my email I would put a few thousand down, I told him I watch all your videos and watched the video you put out why customers trade them in and decide this wasn't the right tractor for my needs. My bx2380 only has 7 hrs on it i told him and has front loader and 60 inch mowing deck, he wanted pics of my tractor and thats fine I would want pics as well, and he already quoted me a price in the email he sent back without even seeing the pics, I gave you guys two shots to sell me one, other time was last month when I wanted to purchase a bx off you guys and he quoted me 2000.00 more then what I got my bx for. But anyhow I don't blame your business i love messicks videos and you seem very fair and honest and wish they just seem more eager to help instead people coming thru your doors instead someone like me who is 3 to 4 hours away. Apologies for the less than stellar service. There are some practical limitations how far from home we can sell, and your on the cusp. At under a month of ownership your selling dealer should look into rolling back the sale and moving you into a bigger tractor.

Really appreciate the thorough review on the New Holland 50, I ended up going with a MF 1740M about a year ago after looking at just about every available line on the market. Kubota came in at a very close 2nd to my choice. The two things that sold me on the MF, was the ground level refueling just like the New Holland, and my local dealer is less than 20 miles from me. I figured as I got older, I was not going to like having to hoist 5 gallon cans of diesel fuel, and my local dealer is a very small business, so I wanted to support my local business owner. Granted, that issue regarding refueling can be solved by having a transfer tank with a manual of electric pump. IMO, you can't go wrong with a Massey Ferguson, Kubota, John Deere, New Holland, or IH tractor. They all seem to be leaders in the industry, and I'm a firm believer in dealer PM and after sells support. Take care of your equipment, and it will take care of your needs.

I like the 3 point hitch on the rear where it is easy to connect equipment to the tractor. The tractor has some other nice features, but the fuel filler is what have me wishing to have one since the filler is at ground level and I love it so much. I have a brand tractor with the filler tube and tank up on the hood area and that is a liability. The distance the front bucket stands out is a liability on this tractor though and would hurt me since I have areas with limited space and the tractors I have does have a better bucket system on them.
