I remember your large chalkboard in your old house with the human body drawing and all the fun things you got for that unit. You inspired me to homeschool my 6 children. We are now wrapping up year 4! Your homeschool content is my personal favorite. My daughter would love the bunny composition book!! Thanks for another great video! ♡

These are my favorite videos. As a homeschool mom of nine children, I love a good Amazon haul. I snorted with laughter when you commented about passing on those posters to your sister. Your humor is the best.

My favourite content, I love all the ✨HoMeScHoOl SuPpLiEs✨! Angie, could you please do a unit study prep video?
@katiacleroux73767 ай бұрын
quick question (not just for Angie, anyone else is welcomed to answer). As you moved to more kiddos being homeschooled, did you slow down on the more 'charlotte mason' style and move to more workbooks? I've found that now that we have 5 kiddos (3 homeschooling) we are slowly replacing more things with simpler, one page a day style work books (grammar, spelling, math, ect). I was wondering if it was a typical thing or not!?

Have you looked at Campfire Curriculums? I just found them, but they were created by a dad! They look super interesting, especially since I have 4 boys. I am interested in the Surviving Off The Land Unit. Brighter Day Press looks amazing as well! Thanks for sharing your haul!

Also, I really appreciate you making a giant pile of all the fun homeschool stuff and then just trusting us that you’re not going to put it all back up in a box very neatly but instead ….. find it a home where it can be used and appreciated -- because that is thethe steps that keeps me from buying the things I don’t know what to do after I buy them ?? How do I use them inside my daily life. …..

I've listened to your videos for years and never realized you grew up near north Florida! I grew up in Jacksonville/St. John's county. 😊❤️ I would love to be on your list of testers by the way. I homeschool my 9 kids: 7 boys and 2 girls, oldest 18 down to 2 months old. We've homeschooled all 18 years and counting and I've tried just about every curriculum and method out there 😂.

We're reading Secret garden this summer as well! Also as a viewer with a lot of Littles, I was wondering how you keep your boundaries of self care. I really try to schedule some time in my days for self care like exercise and showers and journaling, nothing fancy but it feels like there's usually someone with an pee accident or a spill or something, where it just eats up the time I allotted and then the baby wakes up, so how do you tell your children or your husband what you need and stick to it with out it becoming a big ordeal.... sorry for the random questions, you reminded me of this when you talked about the plant defenses ha ha

So where do you hang the posters? Or how do you use them in Homeschool? We don’t have a separate Homeschool room and I’m not sure that I would feel comfortable looking at a skeleton over the dining room table while I eat my cereal. I really need ideas on how to use these because they look so So fun. I actually just returned a similar book to Costco because while it was cool wasn’t sure how to use it.

I have a curriculum question that I’m truly hoping you or someone can help with this. I’m finally venturing on my own doing homeschool our way but I have one going into 9th grade and one going into 4th. I am having a very difficult time picking a writing/grammar curriculum for them. I know it’s individual preferences but I’m needing some guidance on this. I’m looking for a curriculum that is not overly intensive as both my girls have had a lot of it and they are burned out on it. Obviously, I want something still moving them forward but something that they aren’t spending hours writing papers and such. I was looking at EIW but am worried it will still be a lot. I’m liking what I am seeing with Fix it Grammar but don’t really feel the Structure and Style would fit them well. I would love to be able to just do a workbook for writing/grammar so it’s super flexible in what we do. Any advice or suggestions? Thank you!!
