I've seen hacks where people use hot glue under carpets or socks to add a little grip on the bottom. Or maybe you can sew in those grip sheets for cabinet drawers to the bottom of their mats. This video is a little old, so if you haven't done anything yet, I hope these ideas might help!

I found you from One Blessed Mess and am excited to follow along! Your homeschool room is so lovely, it really looks like a peaceful and beautiful place to learn! I like the pink wall! The "December" calendar made me laugh--but that's so real! I want to build a calendar routine in the future, but our kids right now are either a bit too little or a bit too old. The felt continent map set is so cool!

LOL! Yeah we're a little behind on that but my 2 oldest have calendar time including in their math from The Good & The Beautiful...so I'm not too worried. Calendar time is SO fun! How old are your kiddos?

Just watching this so you may already have a solution but for their circle time mats, I have used the rubber drawer liner that is like a shower mat and glued to the under side. Also, shower sticky pieces that can be glued on. And lastly, for my hallway rug I put clear cock on the backside of the rug and once it dried it didn’t slide.

Try putting squiggly lines of hot glue on the underside of your mats. That’s what I use to make my DIY nonslip socks. 😊

I hate rewarding with screen time if the slower child will not catch up and get the same. I also don't want to punish my speedy smartie by giving more work. Help! P.S. We do have snap circuits. No worries! I'm always here to help! ❤ I don't have experience with older kids, but something I tell my older ones when they finish and are just waiting around is to go create something. It's great to have activities and educational toys but you'll be surprised what they can create when they have to figure it out for themselves. 😁

@@crystaljordan7318 I have an art cart with paper and markers and glue and tape. And I also have a basket full of activity books. But moat of the time they will play with what they have in their rooms. I made sure to have blocks, magnaforms, and other creative toys like that so they can play with those. 😁 I hope this helps! ❤

Regarding the mats I got my dog memory foam mats from Aldi with this rubber material on the bottom thoes would work but I don't know were to get ones not shaped like bones :)

Hi Bobbi! I got the calendar at Lakeshore Learning and then the months and numbers from Confessions of a Homeschooler. They're a free printable. I got the Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow from COAH too. Then I just printed out the Spanish days and taped then on. The Spanish months were a free printable on Pinterest. I hope this helps! ❤

I got my calendar from Lakeshore Learning 2 years ago and the continents from Target. Check Target after the 4th of July. That's when they have all their school supplies. 😁
