Honda Amaze now has the best 4 cylinder engine in the sub 10 lakh category. This engine was always better than K12 in swift, but they did horribly wrong with gear ratios in previous amaze. Hope it is better this time.

This should be reviewed for what it is. A common man’s car. Honda has the city which sits in a semi premium sedan segment. Any more flamboyancy in the amaze and it will cannibalise city’s sales. And the smaller wheel size is always better for our road conditions. Most amaze owners will rarely see long road trips and enthusiastic riding. It’s a plane jane car for the mass market, and honda had done enough to compete with the Dzire. Love the car. The walkaround however felt like missing the forest for the trees. A huge fan of Cyrus but maybe he doesn’t belong with the massmarket segment reviews. Dude thrives on the niche products.

It's an absolutely perfect car that fits the need. Not everyone has the budget or is looking for a Mercedes. Not sure why the presenter is making it look like it's something boring. Why can't there be better presenters. Why can't they focus on the utility of the vehicle rather than trying to compare. I usually don't ever watch a full video the moment I see this presenter. I am not gonna buy either of Amaze or the Dzire .. I will keep my 10 year old Highline 1.2 MPI Polo for another 5 years. Probably upgrade to an infotainment touchscreen and that's it. Mint condition, way way way better than these cheap cars. People if you have good old car, with nice safety features (min 2 airbags, abs+ebd, esc) you shud just not buy these 12 lakhs segment. If you can spend 20+ lakhs, yeah, but i see no reason .. plain waste of money

According to me, it's always better to go for hot-hatch rather than going for a sub 4 meter compact sedan. I owned honda jazz which has easily more than 2500 mm wheelbase with smaller yet practically well shaped boot 😉

I think this new amaze looks to cover all the right aspects of the compact sedan when compared to dzire. I like the attention to smaller details like the firewall cladding seems to be better in the engine bay, the boot has insulation unlike the dzire and obviously better automatic transmission rather than an amt. Doesn’t matter it’s not giving a sunroof, but more ground clearance is always welcome. Quick question can ADAS feature be added as optional on the ZX trim or is it standard?

Majority of people will buy this car for local / city use . Kerb weight is even lower than i20 . Hence not suitable for highway drives . Thus ADAS does not make any sense. Honda must have provided more features in the top model . Interiors are a totally let off . No leather wrapped steering wheel, normal halogen cabin lights , absence of leather on dashboard and door trims is a glaring omission.

It's not just different price brackets, the amaze is in a segment which caters to a much different type of customer. Sub 4 meter sedan owners want reliability, practicality, mileage, low running cost, low maintainance. The BE 6E is for the owner who wants looks, performance, latest features and the best that money can buy. There is no comparison between the two

Have spoken about the headlight and the ADAS in this video. Things like a rear headrest are mandated by law just like seatbelts are. We aren’t going repeat these features that should be and are standard in all cars tbh.
