Same here, the 50cc Honda Dax was street-legal for 15-year-old American teen military dependents in Wast Germany in '75 and you don't know envy until you're a teen looking put the living room window of your apartment on a rainy day at about eight classmates riding around in a pack and having fun going nowhere. I got an after-school job at the commissary and I bought a used one that summer, tho' ironically I never cruised around the Drake-Edwards housing area on it. A friend with a Yamaha 50 and I rode our mini-cycles on city streets and two-lane roads and on trails in the woods. And now, half a century later, I want a new one, too. And we could all ride them together occasionallly like teens far from home on their choppers. 😀

Cooler finish than others I have seen, but yes- there are many loving homes to adopt a dax here in the states, just not in the Transalp colorway!

Yesterday went to (arguably) the most prominent Honda dealer in the West in Phoenix AZ. They had ALL THE BIKES ...that people "DON'T" want and none of the ones that people " !!!DO WANT" !!! I have never seen or touched a Monkey, CT 125, Super Cub, XR150, XR650, SCL500 ...EVER !!! over the LAST 4 years !!! UNACCEPTABLE by any measure ! But ...I'VE SEEN LOTS-O-VIDEOS !!! GET ON IT HONDA PHOENIX !!!

Yessir, she'd definitely get some attention out on the streets that's for sure! It's obviously not everyone's cup of tea and while I personally wouldn't build mine like that, I'd still ride the wheels off of it lol! As always bud, appreciate the support ;)
