New Hope and Ivyland 40 cab ride

This is part 1 of my special journey to New Hope. Thanks to you guys watching my videos, donating to my Go Fund Me, and supporting me since 2013 I wanted to show you how much I appreciated it by going for a cab ride inside my childhood steam engine I've been riding since I was a 2 year old baby. Despite the cold the firebox kept us warm... even though it had trouble fully shutting. Part 2 will involve my chase I did later with SEPTA railfan1000. We just met up by pure coincidence and I met a fan who was looking for me until I told him "well you just found him" Part 2 will be up soon so hope to see you lot then!

It’s possible but you would either have to get friendly with an engineer, volunteer at a heritage railway or they might have a special cab ride ticket or something. You’d have to put effort into it, but it would be possible.

@@1stdaybreaker707 I have did the cab ride on a steam locomotive. Back in April 16th 2023 with Nevada Northern 81 at the Nevada Northern Railway Museum in Ely, Nevada.

Rails aint really that smooth due to the line being mainly Jointed rail and not welded but I didn't care.

Nice video! Glad you had that experience. Would you happen to know if NH&I offers cab rides on the steam locomotive, or do you have to get friendly with the crew?

They offer cab rides on their site where you would register online and you of course had to make sure to let the ticket office know. However due to covid it's doubtful they are doing them right now. They didn't come cheap as this was around $150 if I recall XD
