Thanks for your kind comments and your sub. Surprised you can't purchase Hornby in Netherlands, must make it quite exspensive having to travel to England. I would think Amazon or Ebay would be an option.

Hi Roy, I did not know that Hornby had a "new" one of these out as I have the one in DB (orange) livery that came also with sound but I think mine only cost £135 I think??? but 3 years ago, so a nice addition to you layout and will expect some shunting videos from you now as I have done in the past, I have found that these models are super over the points and never had problems with them, I would think your doors should open (inwards) as mine do so cheers for the info well done. Thanks for your comment Robert, yes the doors do open inwards, I did not realise the doors were hinged, there is also a small sliding vent in the roof.

Nice. I don't think any of the Railroad or TTS models come with any lights but there are people that sell light kits for TTS fitted models for about £20. They require some soldering but fit perfectly. Some of the people will fit them for you for a fee. I wouldn't show details with your name, address and telephone number m8 on this platform. It is asking for trouble.

Yes, the curved sections are the Hornby ones, there is a straight section which is 58cm long made from laser cut mdf made by torri laser available from amazon. Link: www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=torri+laser+viaduct&crid=I98FQ79N2475&sprefix=%2Caps%2C177&ref=nb_sb_ss_recent_1_0_recent The Hornby ones are made of a flexible plastic and are not easily damaged, unlike the mdf section that can be quite delicate.
