Ola ola David because of You and ur beautiful healthy plants n all ur plant hauls, I went to our nearest Lowes in Kingsville TX and bought (2) Stromanthe TriStar n (2) Calathea Pink Pin Striped, Lowes is stocking up on all the great plants u have so we are going tomorrow to buy more and their Garden Soil 1cuft bag are $2.24 a bag Thank You always for sharing ur plant videos with us ❣️

Valintino!~ #1 Kitty plantie co-host. I love the small basic plants at Lowe's or Home Depot. You can experiment in finding out what wil thrive for you for under 10 dollars. It's a fun way also to stage contrast in your plants. I love taking a more exotic plant and then having more common plants beside it, nothing is more beautiful in your space then leaves bouncing colors and patterns off each other. This was a fun trip ty!!!

Hey David. I just watered and sprayed all my plants with BioAdvanced Insect & Mite Control. I also sprinkle my plants with D. Earth once a month or so. I try to switch up my sprays to keep the insects guessing cause they are not here to play games. Thanks for taking us along. Have a wonderful evening.

Do not use tap water on your Ctenanthe. They dont like it. I Iost some beauties that way, now i know better and mine are thriving. Loved shopping with you all.

FYI the ctenanthe develops those white crystals on the underside of the leaves. they are harmless, I think it has something to do with how they process tap water. I have the same plant and it has those white crystals and I just rinse them off or leave them, my plant is fine and it is really tall. the reddit houseplant site has more about as I'm sure other on line sites have more info it also happens on calatheas

Agreed. Calatheas and other plants will expel extra minerals from their leaves creating these crystals on the underside. Totally harmless.

@@DavidMoralesPlants Ooop is right boo 😆 cause I was eyeing a homolomena & yours was pretty 🧡 I haven't emailed them yet, I'm give it till end of the week. It had torn, some crispy or burnt ends of some leaves & seems to be getting lighter. Not a good green. Pray for her lol
