Can confirm that this does work on the iPod touch. This is more of an issue for iPhones, however, considering you need to be connected to some type of network. Still an issue nonetheless. Great video!

I found another bypass, but it seems to be a glitch more than a puzzle exploit. If you go to the lock screen camera, and if you hit the home button as if you were trying to go back, it might send you to the home screen. But multitasking will be broken until you lock then unlock it again.

I can't reproduce it on my iPhone 5s. It opens the photos app that lets you view the photos you took while you were on the lock screen but then it freezes for 20 secs and when I can finally press the done button it's not recording.
