I just ordered a new controller on amazon and it says it’s supposed to get here in June and my favorite controller had the worst drift that apex was starting to get annoying for me . As a person who works at a PC and console repair shop this method is absolutely viable. The DS4 is great device that rarely fails compared to other controllers, and usually the cause of analog drift is dirt.
