Very nicely defined figures which would go well with any of the ICM German WWII vehicles. As an FYI the MG is an MG-34, the perforated barrel sleeve is the tell tale. Thanks for the review Peter!

The bolts on the helmets,and the P.38 Holster detail is amazing! I have always liked the extra weapons,and equipment you get from ICM.

This is different, and if any major model firms watching this great video channel I have suggestion. Due to fighting three wars at the same time in the sixties/ seventies, the Portuguese armed forces lacked medical helicopters. To get over this problem, they trained femail nurses to parachute into the war zone to treat the casualties. This would make a great model display.

2:08 My preferences are: 1 - (armoured) vehicles; in 1/35 scale; 2 - airplanes in any scale; 3- indeed, the rest. However I still have many boxes of 1/32 and 1/72 military figures by Airfix (and a couple boxes by Matchbox). I don't play with them anymore but I might be tempted to put together a small diorama... The details are great, but painting is going to be difficult. Oh wait, according to the instructions none of the Germans is wearing webbing gear so that should be easier. 10 out of 10 because I didn't expect this kit would have decals!

Hi Peter Nice review mate. I don’t mind some of their kits and the quality isn’t too bad. I’ve got most of Dragon’s, Master Box, Miniart and Tamiya’s WWII figure sets and they all present their own challenges with clean up and fitting issues. I can’t find that set down here atm, but they are on my list. Cheers from Australia ❤😊

A little bit of clean up work needed on the flashing on the figures, the amo sprue looks the cleaner

I am not a great painter, especially figures but I do the best I can. The eyes etc. are passable. The figures are great with armour, aircraft, and vehicles as they give a better sense of scale to the subject. Easier to see just how large any piece of equipment is to the human size. Even just a commander in a tank cupola is great. These figures would be great for a post battle scene. ICM should be commended for making so many different figure kits, and accessory kits for various scenarios and subjects. They are great for detailing any diorama.

I've been intimidated by figures forever, though I did do some as a youth -- after that, I became interested of figures of a different kind... 😉However, I've matured, and recently got the 1/48 ICM RAF Ground Crew kit to supplement my Tamiya Spitfire Mk I on a diorama, and will boldly try to paint them. Great tip about the eyes, Peter! I now learn ICM makes a complete Spitfire kit with figures 🙁, but, live and learn. Anyway, the figures are terrific -- zero flash -- and I'll sure be looking for more ICM kits in the future. Unfortunately, I can't find a way to order from them directly, so I'm stuck with what's on Amazon or what the local rip-off sellers -- ie, some online hobby shops offer. My kit, too, has no instructions for assembling the figures, but they're all together in sub-sections on the sprues. So, if you can't figure it out, maybe you shouldn't be dealing with knives and toxic glue, etc... Oh, and Artem at ICM included a nice note, along with some Ukrainian hard candies with the kit 😋 -- nice touch! Slava Ukraini! 🦾

My nemesis figures but practice makes perfect so they say so l can see me getting these great look and great value you pay half that for weapons, nice tip about the eyes, l think the trick is don’t expect perfection just do the best you can after all if it goes wrong just re prime it and have another go 👍

Also remember most people never get closer than 2-3' so just keep the 20x zoom away from them and you'll be fine! 😆
