New Idea was a farm equipment company from 1999-2006. The manufactured the UNI System Harvester from 1966-1994.

Ultimately AGCO was the only hope of keeping a parts supply for these ailing brands. At the peak in 2003 the company had 22 individual brands. In order to compete with John Deere and CNH they had to candidate in key brands. Many of the products from those 22 brands still continue today like new idea hay mowers under the Massey Ferguson brand

I like this 70/80s style. Today's tractor design often is so unballanced. Different edges, wheelbase doesnt fit to chassis length and always this nippon style main lights known from cars. It seems there is only one design studio responsible worldwide.
