Black Shields are "Chapterless" marine that come to the Deathwatch and commit their selves fully to it, whether due to honor/shame, the loss of their Chapter, etc. The other Deathwatch RPG book made them out to often be assigned to more dangerous missions. Older Deathwatch squads treated their Black Shield as an option, much like the old 1 Wulfen per Space Wolf squad.

Ooo glad this popped on my recommended page as I'm a huge inquisition player have been since 2 Nd edition when I started by making my own marine chapters and wondered what it would be like to work for the best faction ever then I also see a battle report of you guys playing my inquisition and then going against votaan chefs kiss as I use these guys as a second army

So at 29:51 Adrian pick up the caladius and then proceeds to forget about her. When he had a perfect chance to put here down in the center at or around 45:35 to help kill that land fortress. If he had done so, she could have added her fire power and melee and her ability to make something cost an extra CP, to kill that land fortress. Her CP ability would have stopped Bridger from using the crucial CP re-roll that saved the land fortress, and could have turned the tide of this game in favor of the Agents. Or he could have used the Navigator in the same center Deathwatch unit, to also prevent Bridge from Rapid ingressing the Harthkin, and used his mortal wounds ability on the land fortress. Just a observation. Instead the Navigator just sat there the whole game.

Line of sight question. Time stamp: 25:00. You point to the bikes and say 9 auto cannon shots coming out. How can that 3rd bike (shots 7-9) shoot? It doesn't have line of sight through the hekaton does it? I thought every unit that was shooting had to see the target to get their shots off. Thanks for the clarity and great game! Around time 27:00, Votann says he judged the disembarked Kill Team. But units in transports cannot be judged in Pariah Nexus (pocket dimension)!

@@alexknudsen2759 he’s not. The Deathwatch aren’t legends. They are in the codex and are just called Deathwatch killteam now. All the units he used are in the codex. The former kill teams are likely to go to legends and that will be revealed next week on codex release.

sisters have to be 10 per unit. GK only 5. Will not watch a batrep when the player didnt read the book. Yes its new. Yes its no tournamentbook. But read before doin batreps.
