THE AETHER DIMENSION HAS BEEN FOUND. "luck" takes you to a similar looking place but there are way better aethers such as "HZm" which is a cool spruce aether, "}P\" which is a cool snow aether, "Y6A" which is a nice relaxing mushroom aether and "W*>" which is a plains aether but doesn't look that good. I've tested all these and THEY WORK. Just put a book and quill with the word in a nether portal or warp to it and you'll see. just remember it is CAPS sensitive

Agreed. You will never run out of new content. The only drawback is that you can't recreate cool dimensions you found in other worlds. Because the dimension generation is not only based on the contents of the book, but also the world seed.

That dimension called "ant" which had that sign with "patience" written on it is based on "Langton's ant". That black and white block in that dimension that was moving around in crazy patterns is the said Langton's ant. Its basically a Universal Turing Machine. What that is, is a bit hard to explain so look it up. If you can wait for a long time, i.e. if you have "patience" you can see that block trace out a long straight line instead of that mess its currently doing. Fun stuff.

HOW THIS WORKS: When you create a world, Minecraft uses math equations telling the world generator what to do. Normally it would just tell it to create a world with a certain style, certain structures, blocks, etc. The thing is, with these infinite dimensions, Minecraft gives the world generator full power, allowing it to create whatever the hell it wants. That's how you get these weird worlds. There is no rules applied to the generator.

Brad Hud I mean, it can be as permanent as you want. The snapshots leave the launcher but the wiki documents the .jar used, so you can use any snapshot of your choice at any time you want. Just takes a bit of messing around, nothing more work than some older modding
