The eggs Alan and the kids stumbled upon were raptors as it only had the same toes as the third is like how we see when Muldoon and ellie sees the raptor cage when they escaped

​@iguanodon28 I could be wrong, but when Grant and kids find the eggs, the others hadn't yet turned off the power to the raptor paddock, so the raptors had not yet escaped. The eggs and footprints were likely just made by some generic unseen dinosaur

Dr. Wu wasn’t breeding raptors and placing the eggs in the wild. The whole point of the eggs were to reveal that the dinosaurs were breeding and that there were more raptors loose in the park. The plot point didn’t go anywhere because Hurricane Iniki happened and caused a lot of damage and no time to be shot.

The raptors were moved to containment possibly only a few days or weeks before the film took place and it could’ve been the old raptor paddock they found the eggs in which might be why the footprints look so similar

The extra raptors could be indicative of tying in a key plot point in the novel the film only barely grazes: The raptors were breeding in LARGE numbers in the park's sewer systems.

I think it was confirmed that they were breeding in their old paddock before they were moved into the holding pen, I might be wrong but I think the eggs that Alan and the kids came across were raptors as the footprints look similar to the raptor prints when Muldoon finds out they escaped the holding pen

Glad to finally get some new info. It'll be cool to see the explanation for the extra raptors. I've never been an advocate of "If it's not on screen it's not canon" so long as it gets a decent explanation. I agree I don't want dinosaurs every 5 seconds. I want to explore and be scared WHEN a dinosaur happens. Gonna get real tedious if dinosaurs are happening constantly. I want to see the island. All the stuff we didn't get to see in the movie but that is supposed to be there.

Honestly 2025 works better anyways, that year is going to be stacked, and the hype with the new movie which is supposedly more like Jurassic Park than Jurassic World, and JWE 3 being a thing too, it might be the best year for Jurassic Park content since 2018.

Jurassic Park: the Game had any new dinosaurs under the umbrella of “from the quarantine pens”, which makes sense considering lots of animals were being made on Sorna and brought over, thus needing to be quarantined

It be absolutely hilarious if the devs want to say "oh yea this infant raptors you see in the movie? They are alive and well", of course when you see them in the game, you are stressed that one is still dangerous, still lethal, because of its size, it can go wherever you can, of course the biggest joke is that, you do all this sneaking, you think "ok distract and run away", only for one person to fuck up and they think they are to be treated to a kill screen only to be treated to nothing, the raptor simply has no negative exposure towards humans, thus has no reason. Heck, what if you are in an area that has compys and you have to avoid one of dozen or they will instantly get on you, but the said raptor that is just small, you can use it to scare or kill off the compys, and of course. Thus the entire game turns into a case of "Which animal is hostile from the get go, which animal is easily spooked, which animal is tolerant, what is the tolerant rate of said animal?" infact, as dumb as this sounds, lets say depending on where you are, if you are clever enough, you can find amazing methods of distractions, lets say if you are in a staff residential area, you have rooms, beds, tables, the sorts, but if you open certain rooms, lets say some how lure a Dilo or raptor into the room, they will be more fascinated by the bed, and just sleep the entire time, as long as you don't make a loud noise, you completely nullify a threat, however its random if it can happen. 5:44 hey, I think such a structure makes an appearing in Lego Jurassic park.

if JPS is coming out close to the new film, then that could mean JWE3 is getting a 2025 fall release. its not a good idea to release both jurassic games close to each other, that can hurt maximum sales for both, so its wise to let them shine in different seasons.

The dinosaur nest that Grant stumbles onto is almost certainly a raptor nest (didactyl footprints leading from the nest), indicating that a breeding population of raptors outside the three penned animals existed on Nublar in 1993.

Definitely curious to see how the game brings Isla Nublar to life--both the parts we know from Jurassic Park, and the parts we never get to see. I'm really hoping this is a game where we can just become totally lost in the world (both figuratively and metaphorically, maybe). And I agree that it shouldn't be all about dinosaurs all the time. If the game bombards you with dinosaurs constantly, they lose their impact, and it takes away from other challenges you could encounter. So I'm hoping things like the storm and the terrain factor into the gameplay, and maybe even basic survival challenges like locating stashes of food, medicine, and clean water, perhaps in different bunkers or control rooms, and trying to track down which places in the unopened park are operational and which still haven't gotten up and running yet. Not surprising it won't be out in 2024, but I hope we see it in 2025, this has potential to be such a cool game if it's done well.

Those raptors are looking like more JW raptors (model wise) :/ and i guess the other 2 raptors magically spawn there since the franchise does not care what is canon XD, or the babies raptors grow up that fast i guess. A bit weird they using the radio tower of JWFK, i guess Masrani reused the building for JW.

If we are going by actual book canon, it is confirmed that some raptors escaped their pen and disappeared into the tunnel systems below the park and began breeding. In fact, at the time of the 1993 incident, the "automatic counting system" they use in the park puts the number of raptors on the island at 37!

Idea about the raptors: it’s said that The Big One killed the rest but the rest of the franchise has shown us Velociraptors are not only pack hunters but form familial bonds with each other (TLW raptor group attack with a larger population, JPIII showing how they’re caring parents, the bond with Blue and the Raptor pack in the Jurassic World films) so maybe they’ve been alive this whole time and we’re just now finding out

I'd lean towards breeding in the wild. First film supports it, and it would make sense if The Big One was the only female hence why she killed the rest. The other two are males. JP3 kinda hinted at a matriarchal pack structure

Plus, they had their distinctive territory, and rules. Whereas the Raptors had constantly attacked the fences and left their enclosure almost immediately after. Had plenty of chances to go and make a nest, and yet choose not to. I doubt (if they had sexual dimorphism) that they'd need a weaker subordinate, when they could retain their stronger female genes, to better serve The Big One.

@@E.V.A.N-COProductions But considering the trio in the park had presumably just completed the whole gender swap, it makes sense they were indistinguishable from one another apart from size. The other raptors across the islands were bred in the wild which makes sense to have various differences in markings. It also makes sense that the raptors in the park didn't breed within the pen simply to prevent the ending of the nest. We know they tried to escape multiple times, but considering that electricity has a hum to it that eventually the brain tunes out, it's fair to assume the raptors understood to a basic extent that something was different and then broke out. It's not so much as the males have weaker genetic profiles, but we've already seen the raptors can conduct parthenogenesis. She doesn't need a male to breed, however the males need her. Now why they didn't nest within the pen is kind of simple once you think about it: they knew the park workers could see the nest and would end it then and there. That's a biological function to protect the young, and considering there wasn't a "safe" place to have the best, they would be "forced" to not have one at all.

the raptors look a bit too Jurassic Worldy in my eyes, hopefully thats not the finished model. Itd be cool to get hunted by metriacanthosaurus, baryonyx and herrerasaurus, being the notable large carnivores present that we didnt see. Segisaurus could take up a compy role too. I personally wouldnt mind them adding different species, as the canon list of dinosaurs has always been pretty loose.

"The island is as much a part of the story as the characters and dinosaurs." If they agree, then why the hell was this whole Jurassic world spin off made? Who's it for? It's terrible and at its end. Why is the new movie a Jurassic world movie and not a Jurassic park movie? Jurassic world was a trilogy. That means three. This game is the only thing that can save this franchise.
