New Insta360 Go 3S is 4K ???

Did you see the video from Insta360 saying " 4K has never been this small" ? From a leaked photo I saw on Twitter/X someone posted a picture of a Insta360 Go3S, what does the "S" stand for? Super, Supreme, Sports?
If it is a Go 3S and offers 4K video resolution, are you going to be interested in it?
I guess we'll all find out together on June 13th at 9am and of course watch all the video releases that day and will videos just hype the Pro's AND mention any Con's?

I preferred the form factor of the GO2 actually … GO3 is trying to do too much and Insta should keep tiny camera and full action camera separate …. Well that’s my humble opinion 😊

I don't have one, yet, but the flip up screen that's independent from a phone is an attractive feature. Not to mention they can pack in a bigger battery for more charges.

If they up the battery, that would be great. You could wear the Go3 for more hands free activities. I haven't been able to do longer videos on the Go2, shorter battery life. Guess I'm getting to old for another 'Action' camera. My Iphone is really pretty good and my last Gopro 10 works better than the old GoPros that had bugs. I put the Go2 on my hat and on my coat collars. The GoPros are too heavy for me to do that. Let us know when you get the new Go3 !!

i don't carw about 4k, i hope they improve the image sensor for better low light performance. for sure this will overheat in such a very small body. and there will be a recording limit.

Heating is definitely a concern, since my Go 3 has 128GB of built in storage, that part doesn’t concern me unless it records at a high bitrate

I did get the email from Insta360 about the product launch tomorrow. And I know many people have been waiting for 4k to arrive on the GO series of cameras, so this is a good thing. I'm don't really record much POV type footage, so I have never tried out the GO cameras from Insta360. But did just pull the trigger on the X4. Great video, and thanks for sharing.

The Go 3 is really a fun and versatile little camera for sure and being able to mount it on your hat or chest makes it very concealable. How do you like your X4? I'm about to finish up my review of it this week.

4K is a nice have but unless the battery and other specs are sooooo much better than the 3 the 3S is not going to make me buy it. I have the Go 3 and seldom use it. But I don’t think it will hook me.

It'll be interesting to see what they release tomorrow and how good it REALLY is without the hype videos. Personally I'm waiting on the Hero 13 and what GoPro is going to bring to the table, if it's not groundbreaking, I fear it will be the end of GoPro

Yeah I'm excited to see what it is too. Regarding GoPro, they will have to offer something FANTASTIC this year as DJI and Insta360 passed them up big time as the Hero 12 was just (in my opinion) a firmware updated Hero 11 with new blue speckles on the outside. They will have to do a lot more than that to regain the top spot for sure.

Was going to buy a Go3 when I saw the site wasn't selling it anymore and almost bought it from a reseller. I'm more interested in better color profiles, but always welcome 4k and better low light performance.

Probably too expensive even with 4K 10 bit. Hopefully they have new colors because I basically hate the color of the Go2 but I’ve seen they changed colors on the ace so they have to on the Go as well.

I have the go3 and it’s plenty good enough for POV, never thought the need for 4K plus you can hardly, if any, tell the difference on a phone screen

For me it depends on many factors! 4K doesn't impress me at all. I like to shoot for longer periods without having the need to "baby" the camera! I like the form factor but first it has to perform more then acceptable because it's not like gonna it's gonna cost 50$ to not even care!

I have a Go2. It's a good little camera. Because of the short recording time. It's more of a niche camera. I had an X2. I liked it. My nephew tried it on his Quad and loved it. So he has it now. I didn't use the 360 aspect as much as I thought I would. But it does some really cool shots. I mainly use my Iphone 15pro and my GoPro10. For the videos I do, I don't think I'll spend the $500 on another little Go camera. Hope it's a good one !! I'm sure Andre will let us know 👍

@@WORTHITORNOT I have the original Go and Go 2. I have always liked the very small charge case on the Go 2. It makes it a very surreptitious camera to take to events (with the charging case). The Go 3 has a charging case that eliminates that advantage.

I bought the black go 3 128gb from BH Photo on sale 2 weeks ago. I noticed that model was "discontinued" a week later. This was puzzling to me as I understood insta360 was on a two year refresh cycle. I'll be returning this and getting the latest and greatest when they announce it tomorrow.

I’m surprised the specs haven’t leaked. I hope it has 4k and all the shooting modes in 4k. Not like the 3 that only shoots 2.7k in certain modes. Have you tried taking a picture with it? It makes GoPro look like 110 megapixel Medium format camera.

Not interested. I already own a DJI Action 2 with 128 gb internal memory and dual screens bought for $299. I have heard the new G03s (Go4) will cost considerably more. Possibly over $500.

I guess it all comes down to the sensor size, but yes I agree, the Go 3 I have requires a lot of good lighting.
