These are essentially 3 V1 minis slapped together, hash and watts wise, with a cooler. It has the same hash/watt ratio as the V1 mini 300 and 130 models (1.25 mh/watt). It's unfortunate they didn't step these off with the SE models that are closer to 1.75 mh/watt. Then again, that likely means they'll have just a V1H SE version coming.

Given power and hashrate... id do a comparison with the se or se plus and compare cost... it may be cheaper to get those littler miners... ... time to research....

After doing a little looking this morning, buying the se plus, you'd need 2 to come close to the hashrate of the v1h there by costing more (customs/duties not included) but you would also spend less in electric for that 800 mhs... so, the v1h according to asicminer value calculator, would LOOSE 43 cents a day ( depending on your cost for electric) and 2 mini se plus would LOOSE about 16 cents a day... the V1 mini (gold) would take 3 to put you basically neck and neck with v1h all the way around... even loss per day would be within 2 or 3 cents... so really it comes down to availability, outlet space, noise tolerance and customs fees.. getting used mini miners will cost considerably less depending on model and could be readily available without customs fees... to each his own...

At 6gb I am a little concerned that this will become somewhat obsolete. I don't know why they can't build these with a bit more memory...except for the fact that they want to sell people the next greatest thing in a few years. If you believe ETC will do well then this will be worth it for the next couple of years

Yup 120v is just fine that's what I used to test
