I have used this type power system for several years. I happen to use Goal Zero( not sponsored). I used this for all my power at my home off grid for about 3 years during construction and until the design for the Tesla battery and panels were permanently install. I am about 10 miles off grid and needed a power sourse for working and lights. THey worked great!!

Awesome toy Jay...quiet is certainly the way to go as far as a generator. I used to own a hunting lodge on Crown land and gas generators completely ruin the experience with their noise. Thumbs up on the infomercial in a gorgeous setting👍🏻

I love and have had a 1000 from the first day they were available. It goes with me anytime i head outdoors. It is the shore power for my camper when i am out both summer and during hunting season. It ruins my pellet grill at home and in good weather i set up a outdoor kitchen and use it for any electrical, cooking cooling my 12v cooler and later it is the lights when i am relaxing in my back yard in the evenings. I would love one of the newer units but until they work with my existing panels i will stay with what i have.

Holy sh*t Jay. That things over $3k out the door without the solar panels. Yikes! I like the charge time. It’s the reason I picked the EcoFlow Pro. It’s only a 720 ( extended battery available to double that). Charges 80% off of my Honda EU2000 in one hour. $800 on sale out the door. I was at the camp 3 days and only had to run the Honda a total of 3 hours (less than 2 litres of gas) the whole 2 and a half days I was there. Instead of at least 30 hours. Awesome. If I purchase the Jackery 2000 that would continue to be my method for charging. Very fuel efficient and quiet inverter generator. The panels are just too rich for me. I’m jealous Jay. Congrats.

Very nice unit but holy crap that’s expensive, usually they are about $1/watt or less but this unit exceeds that. Can’t go wrong with Jackery though, high quality stuff.
@JeffersonDavis4122 жыл бұрын
The Bluetti AC200P and the Ecoflow Delta Max both have the same maximum wattage and will both last longer than the Jackery. Not to mention that they are BOTH cheaper than the new Jackery. Jackery is giving you a less quality product but charging you higher prices than better products while forcing you to have to use and buy their solar panels. Do your research 🙌🏿

We have one for emergency with two batteries added on, but I use it daily to run our hall motion light, outdoor motion light. charging all our gadgets and running the washing machine and or dryer. We also run a portable air conditioner in the bedroom when it’s hot. I could easily run the small appliances in kitchen or even our dishwasher ❤ it will pay for itself in a year with money saved on our electric bill. Also in Texas heat with storms, our two freezers are full of food, this will keep the food safe if it’s hit and there’s no power from the grid.

Well, Its a nice unit but why would you have to buy their over priced solar panels. The one thing I do not like about it. It should have MC4 connectors, as should their panels, they could sell panels to anybody that way. Not just Jackery users.
@andyfunke94842 жыл бұрын
Agreed, I live in the middle of BF nowhere, off grid, nearest neighbour or power lines several kilometres away, and I have the EcoFlow Delta Pro, plus two additional Smart batteries, for 10600 watts, to which I can expand to 25000 watts, which I have plans to do. Something that can't be done with a Jackery either, they can not be daisy chained together. In addition to that I have the Smart generator, which automatically starts up and shuts down when needed, which it rarely does. Because I also have two of EcoFlow's 400 watt solar panels with the automatic solar trackers, which can also be expanded to 1600 watts, if I add more Smart batteries. But I'm not beholden to using EcoFlow's solar panels if I choose to use a different panel set up. I like it because it's completely portable. Unlike the pioneers of old, I don't have to live in total isolation, I have a fridge, freezer, lights, regular small kitchen appliances, power tools, satellite tv, and I just recently replaced Explorernet with Starlink. I have friends who say, but you've spent so much money on tech, and they're right. Coming from people who spend more money on a single vacation to Hawaii than I've spent on my entire set up. Jackery's are nice if your going camping, or have a short term power outage. But EcoFlow can be set up to run an entire house, and still remain portable.

HEFTIG GEIL !!!

Here's an idea for you. Start cooking with your Jackery! Get rid of non-renewable propane fueled appliances. I have another 600W solar generator with solar panels of 120W. I can boil 335ml/12oz of water for coffee using just 60 watts of my 600W power bank. Then, my solar panels generate that power back in 30-45 minutes. Have a small 7"x7" electric frying pan too! 🏕️🥞🍔🍲🍳 I have a king sized heating pad. Bring one to the tent/cabin with you. You stay comfortable at bed time, if your stove has a problem. Your Jackery has the capacity to handle that task also.

I wouldn’t say Jay is a sellout. It’s nice to see a quality product being put to the test. I think the product is gaining good traction and building a good reputation. The price is a bit steep but the higher cost ensures the company can thrive. Higher cost usually means better support, better warranty, better part availability etc… only time will tell if this thing is worth the $$$. I hope Jay makes a couple follow up videos in the winter. I’d like to see this thing operate it’s life off grid entirely (never being plugged into the wall outlet, generator or vehicle) P.S. there is nothing to be ashamed of for showing a new product someone is excited for, wether they got it for free or not.
